The participants will receive the pdf file containing the proceedings of the
Congress (in original language) before the beginning of the Congress.
CD copies will be available at the Congress venue, while stocks last.
ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE
It will be available at the end of the Congress for all the delegates who will
have filled the assessment questionnaire.

BY CAR
The Veneto Region is well connected with the rest of Italy by an excellent mo-
torway network.
Verona is easily reached by all means of transport at a crossroad for routes
serving central and north-western Italy.
• A22 motorway: exit at “Verona Nord”, then take “Tangenziale Sud” (Vicenza
direction) to Verona, take exit n. 6 for Alpo and follow the signposts for
“Fiera”; distance: 7 km.
• A4 motorway: exit at “Verona Sud” and follow the signposts for “Fiera”;
distance: 1 km.
BY PLANE
Valerio Catullo Airport is only about 12 km from the Exhibition Centre and op-
erates daily connections between Verona and the main Italian and European

BY TRAIN
North-south and east-west routes are similar to the motorway system. The
most important routes are served by fast trains serving the main cities in the
Veneto Region with other main Italian cities. The main railway station is
Verona Porta Nuova: it is only a few minutes from Veronafiere by bus or taxi.

To submit your abstract to the ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CENTRE you have

SUBDIVISION IN CHAPTERS
In case your abstract is an original research, it must be parted in the fol-
lowing chapters: Aim of the work, Materials, Methods used, Results and
Conclusions.
For clinical cases: Introduction, Case Description and Discussion.
Abstracts that do not comply with this format will be refused automatical-
ly. The statement “Results will be discussed” is not acceptable.
ETHICAL STANDARDS
The non-experimental researches must be approved in advanced by an
ethics committee. Case reports and retrospective researches don’t usually
need to be approved by an ethics committee, but the Congress Scientific
Committee reserves the right to request the approval of those kind of ab-
stracts and of other works which entail the use of living animals. If animals
were used from private owners, the author must document the obtaining
of informed consent from the owners. Esperimental works must by ap-
proved by the cognizant authority according to the current regulations.
The online application for will ask the author to confirm that you have
those documents. If necessary, the organiser reserves the right to ask the
author to provide them. The abstracts that do not comply with these rules
will be rejected.
CONGRESS REGISTRATION
THE AUTHOR/SPEAKER OF AN ACCEPTED WORK WILL RECEIVE A FREE

EVALUATIONS AND DEADLINES

LANGUAGE AND TIMING
Short Communications have to be presented in English or Italian.
Timing for Short Communications presentation: FIFTEEN (15) minutes, in-
cluding the time for the discussion.
POSTER PRESENTATION
Posters will be considered in case of exceeding number of accepted free
communications. The authors have to be available for questions and an-
swers time during the coffee breaks. The poster has to be 1.30 meters high
and 0.80 meters wide.
The title, author or authors and their affiliation must be clearly visible and
printed in at least 5 cm high characters. The text of the poster must respect
the text of the short communication and be readable from a distance of at
least 1 meter. The posters will be attached to specific supports. When pos-
sible, the results should be presented with graphs and images.
The accepted Short Communications and posters will be included in the
Proceedings of the Congress.
The author/speaker of the accepted short communications and posters
will receive a free registration to the Congress.
