They can't make it across without some light.No more than two people can cross at a time.Ashok can cross the bridge in 1 minute.Karan can cross in 2 minutes.Hakim can cross in 5 minutes.Ramesh can cross in 10 minutes.How can they all get across in 17 minutes?

First, Ashok and Karan go across with the flashlight(2 minutes are now used up.)Karan takes the flashlight back across to the others(4 minutes are now used up.)

Hakim and Ramesh go across with the flashlight(14 minutes are now used up.)

Ashok takes the flashlight back to the other side(15 minutes are now used up.)
