Best ramen noodle in the city. Go for kimchi ramen with miso base on a cold day.

Cafe Claude is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at here in the city. The atmosphere is very intimate and a perfect place for romantic dates. Located near Union Square, it is off the beaten path enough to avoid a flood of tourists trying to get that “authentic” French experience. I highly recommend the steak tartare -- it’s my absolute favorite!

My favorite spot, besides Neiman Marcus, in Union Square is the Xanadu Gallery located at 140 Maiden Lane. It is San Francisco’s only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building, a precursor for the Guggenheim Museum. It is a special little secret and quite a treat to visit.

Union Square is a vibrant and diverse area that traces its origins back to the mid 1800s when it was a humble sand dune that served as the site for pro-Union Civil War rallies. Today, Union Square endures as one of the most popular attractions in the city for residents and visitors alike. Though Union Square is best known for world-class hotels and shopping, it is also home to a select group of historic condominium conversion buildings including Mint Plaza, 74 New Montgomery and 333 Grant. The latest attraction is the stunning renovation of Hotel Zetta, formerly The Hotel Milano. The renewed historic building will feature state-of-the-art accommodations, while the team behind Park Tavern will bring its award-winning brand of uber-chic to the classic cocktail inspired S&R lounge as well as British-themed restaurant The Cavalier. With all the buzz already swirling around this new development, locals are already waiting to welcome the neighborhood’s new addition!
