Mission Vanguard Academy Charter School, the entire school staff, students, and parents will build partnership and are committed to

provide support resources and academic rigor to ensure that all students achieve educational and social excellence.

Vision

Vanguard Academy is committed to instilling a sense of responsibility and accountability for students, teachers, staff, parents and

administrators. Our goal is to accelerate students’ academic success through effective teaching practices, parental and community

involvement and administrative support. Vanguard Academy is about recommitting ourselves to the highest standards of education

rather than minimum skills. Our vision focuses around the following quote: “A purpose in life, a reason for learning.” Students will

be active life-long learners, self-learning and behavior, and to view reading as an exciting learning opportunity. Our vision

incorporates the passion for learning where students take pride in their school and will respect the dedicated teachers and staff who

commit their lives to education. Students will hold themselves to high standards of achievement and academic excellence. They will

be grateful for the privilege of receiving an education and they will strive to the best of their ability, to accomplish their educational

goals.

Vanguard Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or disability in providing education

services, activities, and programs, including vocational programs, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as
