1 Newsletter 016/10/2020 Seven Fields Primary School-Newsletter Dear Parents/Carers Unbelievably we have already got to the end of term one this academic year. I am pleased that we have been able to stay open with all our cohorts. This has been because you have followed the government and school advice and self isolated where appropriate as well as informing us of negave test outcomes. (Strange isn't it that we are so pleased to fail a test) So a huge thank you for enabling children to follow correct procedure and your example. I would like to thank those of you who aended parents evening this week. Whilst we are not holding them as normal, there has been a posive uptake. Please expect a phone call from our staff if you haven't managed to hold an appointment. School Access I know that access to the school site is challenging at the moment parcularly for vehicles. Our one way system is restricng the ability for vehicles to turn around easily. Please do park in the car park down the road and walk to pick up your child. This is the safest way to pick up and drop off. I am informed there are enough spaces. There was an incident this week when a local resident ended up arguing with parents. I cannot condone such behaviour in front of our children. However, I understand your frustraons and I am fully supporve of those parents who have drawn up a peon to improve access to the school site. Let's hope the local council listens to the parental voice which is always so powerful. We will connue to educate your child in road safety and you will note the compeon that we have sent out that we would like as many entries as possible. The winning entry will have their drawing turned into a banner which we will display on our gates. Finally, please remember that on Wednesday next week, the school closes for half term break. Children are due back on Tuesday 3rd November. Have a fantasc break everyone . Mr Booth Value: Self Discipline Home Phonics George - wren, Filip—Sparrow, Kayden—Sparrow, Levi—Sparrow, Eli—Robin

Seven Fields Primary School-Newsletter Dear Parents/Carers

Unbelievably we have already got to the end of term one this academic year. I am pleased that we have been able to stay open with all our cohorts. This has been because you have followed the government and school advice and self isolated where appropriate as well as informing us of negative test outcomes. (Strange isn't it that we are so pleased to fail a test) So a huge thank you for enabling children to follow correct procedure and your example. I would like to thank those of you who attended parents evening this week. Whilst we are not holding them as normal, there has been a positive uptake. Please expect a phone call from our staff if you haven't managed to hold an appointment. School Access I know that access to the school site is challenging at the moment particularly for vehicles. Our one way system is restricting the ability for vehicles to turn around easily. Please do park in the car park down the road and walk to pick up your child. This is the safest way to pick up and drop off. I am informed there are enough spaces. There was an incident this week when a local resident ended up arguing with parents. I cannot condone such behaviour in front of our children. However, I understand your frustrations and I am fully supportive of those parents who have drawn up a petition to improve access to the school site. Let's hope the local council listens to the parental voice which is always so powerful. We will continue to educate your child in road safety and you will note the competition that we have sent out that we would like as many entries as possible. The winning entry will have their drawing turned into a banner which we will display on our gates. Finally, please remember that on Wednesday next week, the school closes for half term break. Children are due back on Tuesday 3rd November. Have a fantastic break everyone . Mr Booth
