Weekdays– Hours: 4:40 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. – Frequency: Trains arrive every 10 minutes from 6 a.m. to
7 p.m.; all other hours, every 20 minutes.Weekends and holidays– Hours: 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.– Frequency: Trains arrive every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to
7 p.m.; all other hours, every 20 minutes. During special events, trains may operate more frequently, or for longer hours, to accommodate large crowds.

U-turns and left turns are made on green arrow only.
“Train Approaching” sign & traffic signal red light will display at same time.
Other Signals
No right turn on red – must wait for a green arrow to turn (only found in downtown Phoenix) Signal for the train
operator – public should ignore
No driving on the tracks

– Station celebrations will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Activities will occur along the entire 20-mile METRO alignment – Music, activities and exhibits at many park-n-ride and light rail station

Light Rail Fares
Light rail and bus share the same fare system
Proof of Payment System: Pass must be active!
Choose the “activate” option when you buy your pass at the vending machine
Place a pass purchased earlier into the vending machine’s activation slot
Tap your Platinum Pass on the tap-screen located near the station entrance ramp
Activate your pass on the bus by dipping it in the fare box.
Monday - Friday Hours:6am - 8am: Every 15 minutes 8am - 3pm: Every 30 minutes 3pm - 6pm: Every 15 minutes 6pm - 10pm: Every 30 minutes

Budget Savings of $7.4 million
City of Phoenix must cut some bus service that operates within the city.Cuts are being made during times that will affect as few passengers as possible, about 2% of riders. What about my route? Check first pick up in the City of Phoenix before 5 a.m. or after 10 p.m.
Service Reductions
Saturday bus service reduced to match Sunday levels– Including neighborhood circulators: ALEX, DART, DEER
RUN, MARY & SMARTI-17 RAPID– morning trip adjustment & one pm trip eliminated
SR-51 RAPID – 2 pm trips eliminated
DASH Downtown Loop– Service between 6:30 – 8:30 pm will be eliminated
