Industrial Training & Internship

Completed training at Piramal glass limited, Jambusar from 3rd to 18th June 2015, learned about themanufacturing of glass bottles.

Completed internship at IIT Kharagpur from 2nd to 22nd June 2016, worked on a project entitled“Cyanide removal from industrial waste water” under the guidance of Dr. Sirshendu De, H.O.D.,Chemical engineering department, IIT Kharagpur.

Completed internship at Evolvingminds from 9th Dec 2016 to 7th January 2017. Worked on developinginnovative chemistry experiments for teaching the fundamentals of chemistry to school students.

Currently doing an internship at Development Alternatives, New Delhi since 12th Jan, 2017. Workingon the project “Demonstration, field validation and development of solar water disinfectionproducts/devices for rural areas and urban slums.”

ProjectLed a team of 5 members to work on a project entitled “Designing and construction of Solar DesalinationStill” from Jan, 2016 to May, 2016. Constructed the Solar Desalination Still and studied the factorsaffecting its performance.

Extra credit courseGot 1st position in an extra credit course on Desalination technologies held during the month of July andAugust 2015 conducted by SRM University in association with Indian Desalination Association.Visited Multi Stage Flash (MSF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination unit at Kalpakkam Nuclearpower plant. The industrial visit was part of this course.

Beginners course in StorytellingCompleted this 3 day course from Kathalaya – The academy of Storytelling, Bangalore on 18th Dec, 2016.Learned about the art of Storytelling, Voice modulation, Facial expressions, Eye and hand movements etc.

International conferenceParticipated in InDA-APDA (Indian desalination association – Asia pacific desalination association)conference program on “Clean India technologies – Role of desalination and water purification” at Chennaiheld on Feb 11 to 13, 2016.
