1. Purpose

IT department receives Laptop / Desktop request from users and processes as per

business policy set by management. To formalize overall handling of the above, a digital face is

created that will help recording of events like, Request Submission, Approvals and other activity

facilitation.

2. Terms / Abbreviation

1. Asset

Laptop / Desktop.

2. Approve

Approve the Laptop / Desktop request and forward the request to next

approvee.

3. Send for Correction

Request sent back to requester for correction in Laptop / Desktop

request.

4. Reject

Request rejected by approvee.

3. Icons

1. Shows the current status of Asset Request.

2. Requester can send the reminder to approvee to approve the Asset Request.

Only 2 reminders can be sent per day.

3. Requester can modify the Asset Request. Once approvee approves the Asset

request, then requester cannot modify the asset request.

4. Requester can withdraw the Asset Request. Even though IT Department gets

notification, user is still requested to verbal speak to local IT to avoid in

actions.

5. Asset Request:

a. Login into HRIS Portal

Browser : IE 7.0 and above.

URL : http://hris.cadilapharma.in/hris

o Enter HRIS Employee id / Password.

b. Raise a Request

o Click on Asset Asset Request Self.

o After click on “Self”, fill appropriate details and click on , system will send Email notification to Requester and Next Approvee in the chain.

o On successful submission, system will update the list of requests.

o Click on to view the current status of request.

o Click on to send reminder to approvee. Only two reminders can be sent per day to approve with whom requests is lying and has updated company email address within HRIS.

c. Asset Request Approval

1. HOD

o Click on Asset Asset Request Approval.

o After click on Asset Request Approval click on to take the action in asset request.

o After click on fill appropriate details.

o Select appropriate action for asset request. If you select the Approve action then you also select the Finance Controller name from the drop down list.

o Select appropriate action for asset request. If you select Approve action then Finance Controller name from the list.

o After click on , system will send Email notification to Requester, Approvee and Next Approvee.

o After click on Asset Request Approval click on to take the action in asset request.

6. Asset Acceptance

o Click on Asset Asset Acceptance.

o Click on and fill relevant.

o Click on to accept the asset.

7. Limitation

o Valid Company Email-ID is required to get Email intimation of actions.

o System does not control allocation against formalized request through AM. In order to allocation an asset, user request is not mandatory in AM.

8. Logout

o Click on Logout Menu to logout from HRIS.
