Haddonstone has the world’s most comprehensive collection of fine architectural cast stone, landscape ornaments and mantles. This Architectural Supplement contains an extensive range created specifically for the US market and is offered in addition to the company’s standard collection.

Established in 1971, Haddonstone has expanded to become an international group with offices and manufacturing facilities in both the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

If this is your first introduction to Haddonstone, we hope that you will shortly be joining the many leading architects, landscape designers, contractors, specifiers, interior designers and private clients that we already serve.

All our designs can be viewed on our comprehensive website www.haddonstone.com

INTRODUCTION

WHY HADDONSTONE?Haddonstone is a unique form of cast limestone with a surface texture similar to cut limestone. The material matures and weathers like natural stone yet normally costs significantly less than quarried stone.

The ability to mold the Haddonstone material into almost any shape – faithfully reproducing new designs or producing replicas that are virtually indistinguishable from an antique original – has won the company numerous contracts ranging from prestigious residential projects and leading international hotels to retail and commercial developments.

The material used in every design exceeds the requirements of the United Kingdom Cast Stone Association and complies with all relevant UK and European standards. TecStone also meets the requirements of all US standards.

TecStone is a denser material than traditional semi-dry cast Haddonstone, and it has a smoother finish. TecLite is a light-weight cast stone material, closely resembling traditional Haddonstone. The use of thin wall construction and GFRC technology means the component weight of TecLite is reduced by up to two thirds when compared with similar Haddonstone pieces.

Each design is handmade by Haddonstone using molds created within the company’s extensive mold shops and studios. Using these same facilities Haddonstone can even manufacture custom stone pieces to practically any shape or size.

As Haddonstone maintains original models and/or molds for every single design in the standard collection, and utilizes the very latest vapor curing technology, customers can be reassured that the high quality of each stone produced is incredibly consistent yet retaining the individuality of a handmade product.

HADDONSTONE (USA) LTDHaddonstone (USA) Ltd was founded in 1990, initially importing products into its New Jersey warehouse from the United Kingdom based parent company.

Haddonstone opened an impressive manufacturing facility in Colorado in 1996 to provide mold-making, Haddonstone production and extensive storage space. The site has been subsequently extended to enhance additional facilities, whilst also introducing TecStone and TecLite production areas.

Haddonstone is world renowned for landscape ornaments and architectural cast stone. Normally associated with traditional or classical design, the company has further enhanced its reputation by incorporating designs of contemporary style within its range.

Please note that, throughout this Architectural Supplement, the photographs show Haddonstone pieces of various ages and stages of maturity. The special qualities of Haddonstone ensure weathering of pieces, dependant upon climate and location. The colors reproduced in this supplement are as accurate as the printing process will permit. Cast stone color samples are available upon request.
