In 1995, Thomas “Marok” Marecki founded the pop culture magazine Lodown. In addition to his work as publisher and creative director of Lodown magazine, Marok realized personal and social art and design projects worldwide.His latest project ‘Traphic’ connects visuals and texts based around the headline “Traffic” + “Graphic” = TRAPHIC. 0717 aka Lilo Krebernik.Skateboarding and snowboarding are the main influence in Lilo’s projects, as he was riding for Burton Snowboards in the 90ies, competing on international level. Beeing a team rider for brands like Smith, Nixon, és and Shorty’s this led to his own skate-/snowboard label in 2003, before moving on to other projects. Over the years his focus got more and more into streetart and illustration, leading to a lot of interesting work for companies like Red Bull, Atomic Snow-boards, Gloryfy Eyewear and Untho.

The 0717 barcode is Lilo’s signature and an important element in his work. Somehow he got addicted with drawing Lemmings, his signature character that’s usually a part in his artwork. The Kirk Rebellion character became his Alter Ego, but is basically just another Lemming with attitude. So anytime he’s not doing some snow-boardgraphics or other freelance work, you can find him either skating Good-lands (a concrete skatepark), snowbo-arding in Zauchensee or helping out sixxa (his girlfriends brand and clothing/vinyltoy store) in Vienna.

In 2003 I flew to Los Angeles for some snowboard shooting and I took the chance to met the man behind Obey: Shepard Fairey. One year later, I went back to interview him for my thesis: “The stickers as medium and its influence in the urban space” and in 2004 I did an intership at his visual design agency “ Black Market”, now StudioNumberOne. Shepard Fairey and Obey Campaign has been a big reference point for me and for my art.I’m very proud to present our first collaborative tshirt!
