• Prepared and served tacos, salad, and

cookies to the homeless in East Liberty

• Jubilee starting next semester

• Next event will be Nov. 28th

• No soup kitchen in December


School for the Blind

Upcoming Volunteer Activity:•Christmas Tree Sale•Assist in process of delivering trees to vehicles of families•11/17, Sat. 8:30am *continental breakfast*•11/28-12/2; Fri. 4-8pm, Sat. & Sun. 9am-5pm

On Wednesday October 31st, 2012 @ 6:30pm six

volunteers from the Pitt Chapter of the Lions Club

participated in Boo Bingo at the Western PA School for

Blind Children. Our volunteers helped the students

play a few rounds of Bingo while also celebrating

Halloween. Volunteers cheered on the students during

the activity and also helped cleanup afterwards.

Angelus Home Bingo• Joined members of

the Pittsburgh Deaf and Blind Society at the Angelus Home to play Bingo

• Took turns playing with the residents and calling numbers


Global Health Educational Talk• Educational talk from

Dr. Larry Schwab from WVU

• December 12th from 12pm-1pm

• Lunch will be provided

Rink•College sessions: Sundays 7-9pm•$3 admission,$2.50 skate rentals
