MODULES 1 - 4 - WEEKS 11-38 – PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION – OFF CAMPUS COMPONENT

The student returns to her / his district, and –

Implements and manages a Vision 2020 programme for a service unit of about 1 million population

According to the plan developed during courses 1-3

Using the knowledge and skills acquired during courses 1-3

With the support agreed to by the relevant NGO / MOH.

This process is one of “reflective practice”.

The focus is on developing and strengthening management skills in the areas of planning, organising, leading, and controlling.

Prescribed reading during the course focuses on these four areas of management.

Eight assignments are submitted during the course, and these also focus on these four areas.
