One network. A world of solutions.
The Univar Dynapak PIB product range offers a multitude of beneficial properties.
Colour: Univar Dynapak is generally water-white, reaching less than 50 on the APHA colour scale (typically less than 10). The product remains very stable after prolonged exposure to UV light. Univar Dynapak is more stable than conventional mineral oil with the same APHA colour.
Tackiness: Tackiness increases as the molecular weight and viscosity increases.
Purity & Toxicity: Univar Dynapak typically has no additives, chlorine or sulphur but Univar has not tested all grades for all possible uses (i.e. cosmetic applications) and would not recommend it’s use for any application for which it has not been tested and confirmed suitable, please ask for specific information.
Stability: Univar Dynapak has excellent stability against heat and UV radiation.
Viscosity: The viscosity of Univar Dynapak is between 5 and 5000 cST at 100°C. As the average molecular weight rises up, kinematic viscosity increases.
Packaging: Univar Dynapak is available in bulk (20mt ISO containers) or steel drums.

Univar Dynapak is used for lubricant oil additives, fuel oil additives and emulsifiers.
Fuel detergents serve to reduce deposits on the engine valve and emit low exhaust smoke. They also prolong the lifetime of engines.
Lubricant detergents serve to reduce and prevent deposits in engines. Those in commercial use are prepared from Polyisobutene and they minimize engine deposits at low temperatures.
