Geraldine, an English barrister – registered in Malta, is a licensed lawyer in both jurisdictions & oversees the Maltese operations of Acumum.

Having started her career managing Barristers Chambers in England, following being called to the Bar of England & Wales, Geraldine has spent over 25 years working within the legal profession, including managing legal departments of multi-national financial & technology corporations (MetLife, Infront Sports, GFI Software -TeamViewer) as General Counsel.

Dr Carmel Said Formosa– Senior Tax & Business Development Manager

Chris, a licensed accountant, specialises in direct & indirect (VAT) taxation & is also a lecturer for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) & ICAEW Chartered Accountants (ACA), local variant papers.

Chris begun his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Malta, advising both Maltese & international businesses in respect of optimum tax structuring, including mergers & divisions, mainly within the financial services (more specifically collective investment schemes & fund managers); remote gaming; yacht leasing & tourism sectors. Christopher Pace – Director

William, a Certified Public Accountant of over 10 years experience, advises an extensive Maltese &

international client base.

William’s previous experience includes working in one of Malta’s leading insurance companies,

Gasam Mamo, where he was responsible for a wide remit of accounting & taxation matters relating

to the insurance & intermediary industry.

Prior to his position with Gasam Mamo, William has occupied a number of senior management roles

in accounting & corporate service providers in Malta, including Portman International, where he was

responsible for: establishing local & international clients, both private individuals & corporates, via

Benedict’s CV is a who’s who of major international financial players, including HSBC, Barclays, & InvestUK – his wisdom combined with flawless professionalism make him one of the most sought after consultants in the business. A lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in the banking & financial sectors, Benedict joined HSBC UK in 1997, where he held a number of roles within the corporate, commercial & personal financial planning divisions.

In 2007 he moved to the HSBC International HQ in Jersey as Senior International Wealth Manager. With a focus on the provision of cross-border wealth planning & delivery of HSBC asset management to global high net worth clients, Benedict worked with clients in Malta, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore & South Africa. Andreas is an international advocate, practicing before both national & international courts & tribunals. Andrea’s practice encompasses high level public/private law; administrative, white collar crime, employment & international law.

As an advocate, Andreas has participated in multiple high – level legal developments, including: acting as an election observer in South Africa's first elections; developing undergraduate & initiated post-graduate international law programmes; as well as participating in a historic process assisting applicants for amnesty & counsel before the South African Constitutional Court, in addition to drafting the international law section of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission Report (TRC).
