Chennai Trade Center
• Uninor launched in Chennai in December 2009.• The objective of the event was to launch the product to the dealers and
channel partners.• The TG at the event were dealers of the age group of 40 years and above.
Our Interpretation
• Each brand is associated with a colour.• Our challenge was to make the dealers to feel young, since Uninor targets
the youth
The Plan
• We invited the guests to the Y Club, Y signifying ‘youth’.• The entire venue was branded with Uninor.• The event was treated with a lot of glitz and technology.
Branding
Event Entry Point
• A theme colour of blue was used across the venue. • An entry tunnel was created, and at that point, smartly dressed hostesses
ushered the guests and escorted each one of the guests to the event area.• Each guests was given a branded bandana, a wrist band, and key chain.• A tattoo corner was also set up.• Welcome drinks in blue were served in test tubes.
• Unlike a typical event setting, a dance floor was set up at the center of the hall.
• Instead of regular AV screens, the set was designed with two large watch out screens and an LED wall.
• The event opened with a welcome note, launch and product presentations.
• Dealers were invited on stage, and each of them were awarded with a memento.
• The entertainment segment featured Suchi, Benny and Karthik.
