How to Blouse Trousers

• Trousers must be bloused at all times‒ If tucked-in, they present a bloused appearance

• Tools: Blousing Strap




Physical Training Uniform (PTU)

• Shirt & shoelaces tucked in at all times

• Blue/black compression shorts allowed

• Conservative running shoes• Plain, white socks

• PTU jacket zipped at least halfway




Grooming Standards: Males

Hair• Clean, well-groomed • Dye should look natural• No excessive grooming aids• No foreign items

• Hair will not touch eyebrows or be visible below the front of your cap

• Hair must have a tapered appearance. Block cut is permitted

• Will not exceed 1 1/4 inches in bulk

Hair• No extreme of faddish styles

• Dye should look natural

• Hair cannot extend below back bottom of edge of collar or exceed 3 inches in bulk

• Must allow headgear to be worn properly

• Keep hair in place with conservative pins, combs, headbands, elastic bands, or barrettes that are similar to your hair color

• Watch: Conservative. No more than one• Bracelet: One on each wrist (unless already wearing a

Wash

ABUs• Wash in warm water ... tumble dry low (heat), permanent press

cycle, remove immediately from dryer and fold flat or place on rustproof hanger

• Can be Air-Dried• Do not starch or “hot press” at a commercial laundry• Fabric Softeners or Bleach should be avoided

Blues• Recommended dry-cleaning• If you must wash yourself: Delicate settings for both Wash/Dry• Warm Water

• Blues‒ If you iron yourself‒ Everything (skirts included) must be wrinkle free‒ Should have creases along the front of the trousers‒ Shirt should have creases on the sleeves only‒ Service-Dress Coat must be wrinkle-free, no creases
