• Trial plantation of two species of Sequoia– Mostly Sequoia Sempervirens with a few Sequoia

Giganteum

• Established by Charles Weston at the direction of Walter Burley Griffin

• 120,000 trees planted, only 3,000 now survive• Sown between 1916 and 1919• At the corner of Glenora Drive and Pialligo

Avenue – Blocks 528, 529, 530 District of Majura
