WEEKLY SCHEDULES PRAYER REQUESTS EXTENDED CHURCH FAMILY There is a very good possibility Ryan Baarda was able to return home

Friday, December 10. The two tumors that were removed were cancer. He will not require chemotherapy because they did a chemo bath during sur-gery. Thank you to all the prayer warriors who sent prayers heavenward on our family’s behalf. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY We extend our Christian sympathy to Dick Schnell in the death of his wife,

Linda Schnell, age 79 who passed away Tuesday, December 7. Her fu-neral was held at here at FRC on Friday, December 10 with Pastor Mike Holleman presiding.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Children in Worship is still seeking one Leader starting in January. High School Wednesday night class needs a Bible Study Leader—if this is something you could help out with please contact Jeff Knouse at [email protected] Keep up the great work—we have raised $2,085.80 so far! The entire Sun-day School department has a goal to raise $1,500 for a special Christmas offering to Build a Home for a Family in Haiti (although building two or more homes would be great!) through Samaritans Purse. After hurricanes, earthquakes and other disasters families and, at times, whole communities are left with damaged or destroyed homes. The offering for this project will con-clude TODAY! The deacons have shared that $700 of today’s offering will go towards this project! VALET PARKING - This service will be available at the south car port door only. You may drive your vehicle to the car port where a valet attendant (church volunteer) will park your vehicle. If you would like to help out with this ministry, please contact the church office 594-2935 ext 1 or [email protected]. CHURCH DIRECTORY UPDATES: We are working at putting together our Church address/phone directory for 2022. If you would like to be added or have a change of address, phone number or would like to include listing your cell phone, please contact the church office at [email protected] or sign up on our website at http://sullyfrc.org/resources/church-directory-update/ SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE: Gifts are NOT to be wrapped, put in a plastic bag and attach the tag to the bag. “The Gift of Reconciliation” 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Jeff Knouse 9:30 a.m. December 12, 2021 “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconcil-ing us to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and en-trusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassa-dors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” -2 Corinthians 5:18-20 To reconcile is to __________ to __________ or _____________. Reconciliation is all about ______________. There wasn’t a relationship more broken than your relationship to God, and your sin did not cause God to ___________ from you, but to ______________________. “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 Jesus takes the ______________ towards you, even while you’re still _____________ against Him, because He ________________ you. If Advent teaches us anything about who Jesus is, it’s that Jesus is a bridge _____________, not a bridge ______________. There are 2 questions we must ask ourselves this season: Have you received God’s _______________? Who do you need to ________________ with?
