DIVA OPERA was founded by Anne Marabini Young and Bryan Evans in 1997 and since then hasgiven more than 2,000 performances of 60 different full operas and concert programmes throughoutGreat Britain and Europe. Recent highlights for the company include performances of Tosca ande Magic Flute, gala performances alongside the international tenor José Carreras, a performance ofLa Cenerentola at La Fenice in Venice and the party scene from Die Fledermaus at the Royal AlbertHall, with José Carreras and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa as special guests. 

BRYAN EVANS Music and Artistic Director of Diva Opera has directed opera from the piano forover 3,000 performances world wide and has performed at venues including e Purcell Room, eWigmore Hall  and St.  John’s Smith Square  in London. He has conducted performanes of DonGiovanni, Die Zauberflöte, L’elisir d'amore, Le Nozze di Figaro, Lucio Silla, e Rape of Lucretia andIl Matrimonio Segreto. He was awarded and MBE for services to music in 1993.

DAVID EDWARDS Director has directed Katya Kabanova, Der Rosenkavalier, Attila, Stiffelio, SimonBoccanegra, Arabella, Der Fliegender Holländer, Die Zauberflöte, Dialogue des Carmélites, Carmen,Lucrezia Borgia, Albert Herring, La Traviata, La Cenerentola, Falstaff, Rigoletto and Gianni Schicchi ate Royal Opera Covent Garden, San Francisco, San Diego, Tokyo, Philadephia, Minneapolis,Singapore and New York. 

CATRIONA CLARK Soprano has sung roles including Susanna Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina DonGiovanni, Arline e Bohemian Girl, Dew Fairy Hansel and Gretel, Marie La Fille du Régiment,Musetta and Mimì La Bohème and Euridyce Orphée aux Enfers for companies including Opera North,Edinburgh Festival, British Youth Opera, Opera South, London Festival Opera and Diva Opera.

SARAH-JANE DAVIES Soprano has sung roles including the title role Agrippina, e CountessLe Nozze di Figaro, Donna Elvira Don Giovanni, Pamina e Magic Flute, Micaëla Carmen, FiordiligiCosì fan tutte and Tatyana Eugene Onegin for companies including the London Handel Festival, EnglishNational Opera, Welsh National Opera, Garsington and English Touring Opera.

NICHOLAS RANSLEY Tenor has sung roles including e Duke Rigoletto, Rodolfo La Bohème,Don José Carmen and Nadir e Pearl Fishers for companies including Central Festival Opera, CorkOpera, English National Opera, European Chamber Opera, London City Opera, English TouringOpera, Lyric Opera Dublin, Mid Wales Opera, Opera Holland Park, Scottish Opera, Opera Northand Diva Opera.

RICHARD SUART Baritone has sung operatic roles for all the major British Opera houses includinge Royal Opera Covent Garden, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North andGarsington and internationally in Munich, Rotterdam, Gelsenkirchen, Milan, Strasbourg and Paris.He has sung Ko-Ko e Mikado for English National Opera for the past 25 years, twice at New YorkCity Opera, in Venice and in Holland. His recordings range from Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre toe Fairy Queen and most of the Savoy Operas.
