THE UNISON FAMILY
hri Naveen Agarwal was a great visionary with tremendous
personal charisma. Simple and humble, Shri Naveen Agarwal possessed profound wisdom & nobility
that always stood the test of time. Modest, wistful and endearing are a few of the adjectives that best
describe Shri Naveen Agarwal. Be it adult or children, rich or poor, to him, it was people who mattered
as he embraced one and all with open arms. Shri Naveen Agarwal was a living testimony of what an
ordinary citizen, fueled by the enterprise and driven by determination, can achieve in his own lifetime.
He was a philanthropist and above all a great human being endowed with empathy compassion and
concern for the underprivileged sections of the society.
During the 15 years that he guided the destiny of the Unison Group, he pioneered the Group’s
involvement in education and allied fields. The Unison Group today stands tall with interests varying
from education and philanthropy to hospitality. Shri Naveen Agarwal’s many contributions in the fields
of education and business symbolised all that is best in the Unison spirit of giving back to society and
the communities in which its enterprises grow. As a fitting tribute, the Shri Naveen Agarwal Charitable
Trust, the premier charitable endowment of the Unison Group, has been created, propelling the
family tradition of philanthropy.
We are fortunate to have had a man of the stature of Shri Naveen Agarwal in our midst. His sterling
leadership qualities, remarkable foresight, uncompromising pursuit of excellence, humility,
prodigious capacity to motivate and trust people will continue to guide and inspire future generations

Chancellor’s Message
A university stands for research, innovation, invention, and aesthetic
creativity. It also stands for promoting disciplinary and trans-disciplinary
interaction and nurturing excellence. Learning in a university aims to build
capacity to explore, critically filter, and interpret the world around you -
qualities essential to personal growth and the creative process. At IMS
Unison University, we constantly strive to achieve these objectives. The

Professor Pandey has served in various administrative
positions including President NIIT University, Neemrana,
Founder Vice Chancellor, ITM University Gwalior, Director,
University Institute of Technology, Director, Institute of
Physics and Electronics, Director, University Computer
Centre; Director, Research and Development; Dean,
Faculty of Science; Member of the Executive Council
Member of the Board of Governors at University Institute
of Technology, Bhopal, Member of BoG at NIT,
Jamshedpur etc. Professor Pandey has played leading
role as an Institution builder. He conceptualized and
implemented several industry linked programs in data
science, business analytics, cyber security etc at NIIT
University as well as fostered academic collaboration with
several leading Universities in USA. As founder Vice
Chancellor, he was instrumental in framing statutes and
ordinances, administrative rules and processes, new
academic and developmental programs, collaborations
and fostering research activities.
At Bhopal University Prof. Pandey established and
developed a large number of teaching and research
program in Technologies and Sciences. Professor Pandey
has been a distinguished researcher and academician.
His research work has been extensively cited with the SC
index of over 1500. He has co-authored one book for
Marcel Dekker, USA, edited a proceeding for Elsevier,
USA, published one review, over 100 original research
papers in international journals of repute, and presented
more than 150 papers in National and International
Conferences as invited speaker and supervised 26
doctoral students. Professor Pandey has been invited as
Visiting Professor, Senior JSPS Fellow, UNESCO- ICTP
visiting Scientist, Course Director and invited Speaker to
several Universities and organizations in Japan, U . S . A.,
Italy, Singapore, Malaysia etc. Prof Pandey is the recipient
of the prestigious Platinum Jubilee Lecture Award at the
94th Session of the Indian Science Congress and ENEA
award from the European Nuclear Energy Agency. He was
elected as the President of the Materials Science Section,
Indian Science Congress, 2005-06.
Dr. M. P. Jain is an acclaimed academician with over 45
years of teaching and administrative experience. He was
with IIT Roorkee for around 36 years where he handled
various important assignments such as Founder Head of
Department of Management Studies, Founder Director
STEP and Director AHEC.
Prior to his present assignment he was with Sharda
University as an Advisor. He has also been the Vice-
Chancellor of SOA University, Bhubaneshwar, Vice
Chancellor of Mody Institute of Technology & Science
Lakshmangarh, Pro Vice Chancellor of KIIT University
Bhubaneshwar.
Dr. Jain was awarded the highly coveted Khosla Annual
Research Prize in 1991. He has held many commendable
positions including member of the Civil Services Selection
Board, UPSC; Chairperson of the NAAC peer team;
National Coordinator of Expert Group on promoting industry
interface designated by the Ministry of Human Resources.
His other projects spanned admirable work with
organizations and technical bodies such as the Indian
Society for Technical Education and Indian Society for
Continuing Engineering Education.

Professor Pandey has served in various administrative
positions including President NIIT University, Neemrana,
Founder Vice Chancellor, ITM University Gwalior, Director,
University Institute of Technology, Director, Institute of
Physics and Electronics, Director, University Computer
Centre; Director, Research and Development; Dean,
Faculty of Science; Member of the Executive Council
Member of the Board of Governors at University Institute
of Technology, Bhopal, Member of BoG at NIT,
Jamshedpur etc. Professor Pandey has played leading
role as an Institution builder. He conceptualized and
implemented several industry linked programs in data
science, business analytics, cyber security etc at NIIT
University as well as fostered academic collaboration with
several leading Universities in USA. As founder Vice
Chancellor, he was instrumental in framing statutes and
ordinances, administrative rules and processes, new
academic and developmental programs, collaborations
and fostering research activities.
At Bhopal University Prof. Pandey established and
developed a large number of teaching and research
program in Technologies and Sciences. Professor Pandey
has been a distinguished researcher and academician.
His research work has been extensively cited with the SC
index of over 1500. He has co-authored one book for
Marcel Dekker, USA, edited a proceeding for Elsevier,
USA, published one review, over 100 original research
papers in international journals of repute, and presented
more than 150 papers in National and International
Conferences as invited speaker and supervised 26
doctoral students. Professor Pandey has been invited as
Visiting Professor, Senior JSPS Fellow, UNESCO- ICTP
visiting Scientist, Course Director and invited Speaker to
several Universities and organizations in Japan, U . S . A.,
Italy, Singapore, Malaysia etc. Prof Pandey is the recipient
of the prestigious Platinum Jubilee Lecture Award at the
94th Session of the Indian Science Congress and ENEA
award from the European Nuclear Energy Agency. He was
elected as the President of the Materials Science Section,
Indian Science Congress, 2005-06.
Dr. M. P. Jain is an acclaimed academician with over 45
years of teaching and administrative experience. He was
with IIT Roorkee for around 36 years where he handled
various important assignments such as Founder Head of
Department of Management Studies, Founder Director
STEP and Director AHEC.
Prior to his present assignment he was with Sharda
University as an Advisor. He has also been the Vice-
Chancellor of SOA University, Bhubaneshwar, Vice
Chancellor of Mody Institute of Technology & Science
Lakshmangarh, Pro Vice Chancellor of KIIT University
Bhubaneshwar.
Dr. Jain was awarded the highly coveted Khosla Annual
Research Prize in 1991. He has held many commendable
positions including member of the Civil Services Selection
Board, UPSC; Chairperson of the NAAC peer team;
National Coordinator of Expert Group on promoting industry
interface designated by the Ministry of Human Resources.
His other projects spanned admirable work with
organizations and technical bodies such as the Indian
Society for Technical Education and Indian Society for
Continuing Engineering Education.

Training & Placement Facilities The Career Service Cell of the University has a training hall for various presentations
by recruiters and students as a part of their selection process. The department has a
set of interview rooms and a group discussion room for facilitating various
recruitment activities. The department also has a lounge to take care of the comfort

halls of the University for smooth conduct of the pooled campus placement drives

Moot Court HallMoot Court, a well recognized pedagogical method of honing practical skills through
simulation of court proceedings requiring students to analyze is hugely popular amongst
the students of Law. The Moot Court hall at IMS Unison University has a seating capacity
of 100.

Training & Placement Facilities The Career Service Cell of the University has a training hall for various presentations
by recruiters and students as a part of their selection process. The department has a
set of interview rooms and a group discussion room for facilitating various

halls of the University for smooth conduct of the pooled campus placement drives

Moot Court HallMoot Court, a well recognized pedagogical method of honing practical skills through
simulation of court proceedings requiring students to analyze is hugely popular amongst

The Annual Inter University Fest - ‘LAMHE’
Lamhe is an Annual Mega-Techno Cultural Festival that provides platform
to the students to showcase their talent and develops a spirit for healthy
competition in them. At IMS Unison University we believe that such
functions are the essence of true education, as they provide each and
every student a chance to get enlightened & entertained to further find
their inner spirit enhanced and refined. This edition of Lamhe has
witnessed wide participation from colleges and universities all over
India.
Grandeur - The Fashion Show in which many teams competed to captivate the scintillating
limelight. Teams from colleges across the country participated to battle it out on the runway.
Dressed on various themes, the teams put forward confidence, panache and poise Starting
from the laughter cannon of ‘Hans-Gulle’ to the groovy dance competition ‘Nritya-o-Logy’, the
day was full of fun, frolic and verve. With the University campus brimming with life and
vibrancy, the students enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The students made the most of
their creative side in competitions like Photo-Montage (Collage making), and then of their
entrepreneurial skills in various Management events.
The evening witnessed a Live Performance from India's leading
Tarkash Band. Through a wide repertoire of songs, the Band made
the audience sing and groove with their compositions and music.
India's leading DJ group Funky Boys swept the crowd away with
their beats. The major attraction of the day was the “CELEBRITY
NIGHT”. The students were taken aback when they witnessed the
starry presence of a surprise celebrity in the form of Jimmy Shergill.
The famous Bollywood actor interacted with the bewildered
students. The students crowded around him to click selfies.
A humongous crowd cheered for him in excitement and applauded
his presence. The actor expressed his delight on being on the
campus with the happening students. The star night was absolutely
worth every bit. As promised, the famous Singer Milind Gaba rocked
the stage and made the enthusiastic crowd dance to his musical
numbers. The musical evening kept all the heartbeats soaring high
as Milind Gaba struck the notes of Pop music in the University
premises.

Management Studies was founded in the year 1996. From then to

Meet is organized every year and serves as forum for interaction between the

2017 saw participation of over 400 alumni from all over the country and abroad
who participated, in events ranging from alumni sharing their experiences with

master all essential components of academic research. It covers
doctoral research in a variety of business related areas such as:

Finance, HR, Organizational Behavior, and Logistic & Supply

The main objective of the Ph.D. program is to promote higher

MBATwo Year Full-Time Program in Management
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program offered by
IMS Unison University is a two-year Full-Time degree program
spread over six trimesters. It is designed to help our future

BBA.LLB (Hons) program offered by the University is a five year
Integrated Honors Degree Program spread across ten
semesters. The sweeping changes in the global economic
scenario have necessitated a strong demand for a breed of
youngsters with the potential knowledge of law coupled with the
core essentials of management and business to enhance
productivity. With the object of catering to this demand, and to
enable them to explore these vistas of opportunities that lie
ahead, we offer an integrated Bachelor of Business
Administration and Bachelor of Law degree programme (BBA
LLB). It exposes students to various aspects of management like
Organizational Behavior, Finance and International Business
along with the substantive and procedural laws. In view of self-
dependency and latest updates, subjects like computer
applications, foreign language have also been covered in the
program.
For practical first hand exposure, students are sent for a
compulsory 20 week Internship to various organizations like
legal firms, NGO's, corporate firms, court etc.
A student can complete the program in a minimum time period
of five years or maximum up to eight years
