Therapeutic use/Mechanism in action:
The cause of peptic ulcer is organic, functional and infection by helicobacter pylori, Irregular and untimely and spicy food intake stress and strain. End result is excessive gastric hydrochloric acid secretion causing gastritis leading to peptic ulcer.
The composition of ULCIRID has been designed to take care of all these predisposing factors. The alkaloids like sitosterol, hydrocortylin, velarine contribute for the regularization of gastric secretion and elimination of harmful flora.
Presence of Glycyrrhizin, glycyrrhizic acid accelerates ulcer healing process and prevents constipation.

Active Ingredients:
Glycyrrhiza glabra : Ulcer healing Embelica officinalis, Calx of conch : Antacid
Indications : Peptic ulcer, Gastritis, Hyperacidity and other Gastro intestinal tract disturbances
Dosage and administration:
Adults : Taken orally and patients can have 2-3 capsules a day. Leafy vegetables and fiber-rich vegetable diet is advised. Oily food and tamarind based food should be completely avoided.
Pediatric Use : Not for infants and children.
Geriatric Use : As directed by the Physician
Diabetics / pregnant women and nursing mothers/cancer patients:
Should use it strictly as directed by the physician.
Patients receiving complementary or alternative medicine:
Ulcirid is compatible with other forms of treatment and has registered no adverse side effects.
Initial Dosage:
2 or 3 capsules a day/ 1-0-1 as directed by the physician after food and never on an empty stomach.

Maintenance Dosage : 2 capsules twice a day
