Tapping the Potential:
A Fresh Vision for UK Water Technology
“There are opportunities to expand today’s UK global market
share in water technology innovation from 3% to at least 10% by
2030, in markets such as wastewater reclamation, smart water,
flood security and remote-sensing monitoring systems.”
• Project Goals
• To provide a community scale living laboratory to demonstrate the practicality and benefits of combined water reuse and sustainable drainage.
• To stimulate innovation and commercialisation of UK water technology
• To raise public awareness and support for more sustainable living.
• To provide enhancements to existing green infrastructure and tangible improvements to a river corridor.
• To monitor, measure and evaluate the costs and benefits (physical, financial, environmental, health and well being) over a five year period.
