Youll have been given your username andhad a temporary password or created a newpassword when you frst enrolled. Enter themandpressLogintoaccessyourlearning.I youve orgotten your password, click Iveorgotten my password and then ollow theon screen instructions to reset your password.

Step 3 Starting your learning

AssessmentsEach o your courses will contain someactivities reerred to as assessments.Theseareexercisesandassignmentswhich show you and your tutor how

youre doing.

The results o these assessments dontmean that youve passed or ailed acourse.However,itcanhelptohighlightwhich areas youre doing really well inand which ones you might need morehelpwith.Yourtutorwillexplainhowmanyassessments youll need to do or your courses.

As well as your course assessments, youll need to pass an overall assessmentat the end o your learning to gain your qualifcation. Youll only do your fnal assessmentwhen you and your tutor think youre ready. Your tutor will tell you a bit more about

what it involves and how its assessed too. The overall assessment is dierent or eachqualifcation, so it could be an assignment, an online test or a work-based project.

What can I expect whenI take my test/assessment?To get your qualifcation youll need to takeand pass a short test or assessment. Dontworry, this isnt as scary as it might sound.Your test will be taken in a centre on acomputer and youll only take it when

you tutor thinks youre ready.

For some qualifcations you might beassessed instead. This means that anassessor will observe you working and ensurethat youre at the right standard beore youcan gain your qualifcation.
