James O. Armstrong, who is the Editor & President of NowWhatJobs.net [http://www.nowwhatjobs.net], has longbeen active as a marketing consultant in Job Creation efforts throughout North America. He is also the author of"Now What: Discovering Your New Life & Career after 50" and a frequent columnist to TUG on job-related subjects.

Armstrong and his wife Dr. Cheryl Roush Armstrong have also just set up Armstrong Solutions, which is a Counseling,Coaching and Career Management Practice, in part, to assist men and women into the next chapters of their livesfrom a job or career perspective.

Further, as the president of James Armstrong & Associates, Inc. he has also been involved with job creation campaignswith countries, states, provinces, cities, regional economic development organizations and economic development corporations, portsand airports, among other categories of business. In fact, Armstrong was once offered a job as a senior advisor to the former Mayorof Winnipeg, Manitoba on precisely this subject, although he declined to take the position.

Armstrong has also worked extensively with both distribution/logistics firms and with manufacturers throughout Central Canada, certainly including Ontario, and the Central part of the US.

Finally, in previous assignments with Industry Week Magazine and BusinessWeek, Armstrong also worked extensively with publiclytraded corporations, including what is today AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, as well as such significant technology players as StorageTechnology, Plus Systems and J. D. Edwards.
