Revolution Rider will change a basic spin classinto a tailor made workout. Each bike will have acomputer that displays resistance (torq), speed(RPMs) and power output (current and cumulativefor the class). This allows you to know how you’reperforming at all times. If you are the competitivetype, you may opt in to participate in our studioTorqboards- a TV screen displays the leadboards inthe class. Don’t be intimidated if you are just abeginner rider or don’t want to have yourinformation displayed. You decide exactly whatintensity is right for you by controlling theresistance to your current fitness level. Theinstructor will give modifications so all levels willbenefit from the class.

Your stats for every ride will be recorded andmade available in your private account on a websitefrom Performance IQ. You’ll see how you areimproving and measure your performance over time.

The X-Team Fitness Challenge (XTC) is comingOctober 22. XTC is an event in which teams willcompete against each other in a variety of fitnessactivities. In an effort to support and grow collegiatesquash in the Midwest, the Club will be hosting the2nd Annual Jesters College Squash AssociationMid America Cup. From October 26 – 28, ourcourts will see men’s squash teams from NotreDame, Northwestern, University of Chicago,University of Illinois, University of Minnesotaand others competing for the Cup. Members arewelcome to attend these matches (no charge) andcheer for their alma mater. If you really want toshow your team spirit, the players from travelingteams are in need of housing. Congratulations to the USA for a historic winover the Expats team. On what turned out to be asweltering day, the USA team proved too strong forthe Expats on all fronts. With a solid defenseproving almost impossible to get through and a fastforward line, the USA dominated. The Expats putup a great fight to the very end and was able tobreak the defense line a little more towards the endof the second half, but to no avail. The USA tookthis year’s battle 6-0. Thank you to everyone whoparticipated and all those who came to support andcheer the players on. Already looking forward tonext year’s match.
