association ased in ienna *ni+ersit of Technolo"% to ,ointl implement the -'ear Zero

Carbon Resorts (ZCR) For Sustainable Tourism Program.

 As the pro,ect lead% $rAT #ill pro+ide the technical e/pertise in conductin" +ariousinformation dri+es focus "roup sessions% "reen technolo" trainin"% test runs% and pulicconsultations% as part of the formulation of the criteria and audit reuirements of a 3hilippine$reen Tourism &ertification 4cheme.5 The pro,ect5s end "oal is to transform tourismestalishments and facilities into $reen Tourism &ertified5 usinesses.

 Aimed at helpin" small and medium enterprises (4Es) in the tourism sector cur

ener" and resource consumption% and caron footprint% the pro,ect specifies potential sites to

ecome Zero &aron 8esorts (Z&8) learnin" centers &eu'9ohol% Da+ao% 9atan"as'3uerto

$alera% 9oraca% and anila'Ta"ata. These places #ill all enefit from trainin"s and other 

relati+e information on Z&8 methodolo" to e conducted until :ul this ear.

from the national "o+ernment on polic de+elopment for sustainale consumption and

production in tourism% and potential fundin" for "reen in+estments% de+elopment and technicalsolutions% the undersecretar e/pounded.
