Project Typology “Children’s Community Center”• Institutional/Educational
• This typology, also known as a Youth Center, relies heavily on community involvement and has a collaboration of programs that include education, creativity and family services. This center will be situated to an underprivileged community, and offer all of its services free of charge in the hopes of improving the education, and overall standard of living for its children.

This community has notoriously been one of the most impoverished in the city for centuries. Most recently it’s home to a majority of Bangladesh immigrant families.
Reasoning: the population is of a very different cultural background, this community is one of the most needy in the U.K. and has recently become a backdrop to successful street artists.
International LocationMexico City, Mexico
This community is also struggling with poverty. Recently, there has been an initiative to help the children of deportees gain Mexican citizenship.
Reasoning: the population is of a melding of two very different societal backgrounds, as well as is rich in artistic culture.
