Two different types of “primary assignment,” can cause confusion…..

In the red circle, see that the Primary assignment is to Nicole Kemp, with secondary assignment to me and Chris, this allows all three of us to work on this case, show up on our desk tops etc, being assigned in this section as primary can affect routing

This is the same case, you see that I am assigned as “Primary Investigator”… this will not affect routing etc, but will now reflect on the FSFN report as assigned to me, rather than Nicole Kemp

In other words, you can have some one assigned Primary assignment and have a different person assigned as Primary investigator

This is the same case, you see that although on the CASE assignment, Nicole Kemp is the primary; because my name is listed as primary investigator on the INVESTIGATION tab– that is what is pulled for reporting purposes

-The fact that these two sections don’t correlate to each other is why occasionally an investigator will say this is on my desktop, but not on my report or vice versa
