Time Line

Q. Where will we pick up the bags?

A. For first year, most likely the Scout Office since

we don’t know how many units will be selling or

volume sold in each area. We will work with units in

outlying areas to ensure ease of delivery including

arranging a group of units product to be brought to

a given area locally. This will not be able to be

arranged un l we know what units are planning on

selling bags.

Q. Will their be prizes for selling trash bags?

A. No. The philosophy behind this sale is to give

youth the opportunity to pay for camp just before

camp fees are due. Giving prizes would cut into the

commission structure earned by each boy thus

earning 30% commission vs. 35% commission.

Q. How much product should we order? Are

un-used bags returnable

A. Since this is the 1st year for the sale, please order

conserva vely having product on hand for 1st order

to be able to show product to customers so they

know what they are buying. Then use take order

forms for customers to place order. We can not

take returns, but will work with you to get product

to other units to sell. Order only enough product

that you are preJy sure you can sell. Once history

is developed, we can be more aggressive with the

sale. Unlike popcorn, this product does not have a

shelf life, so units can con nue to sell and take

reorders aLer the main sell has concluded.

Q. Is this sale replacing the popcorn sale?

A. No. This is in addi on to the popcorn sale and

specifically designed to help youth pay their way to

camp right before camp fees are due.

Frequently Asked Ques9ons

Q. Does my en9re unit need to sell or can just

individual boys?

A. Individual boys can sell, but your unit will need

to place only one order. Great opportunity to make

available for those parents who wish to use this sale

as a way to pay for their son’s camp.
