• Quality questions for new employees – I sent these out and need them returned by 13th July 2016

• Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats... I would like all your feedback by end of June 2016.... This is what I came up with so far

Page 18: TW@ESI 12th June 2016

SWOT... What I came up with so farOpportunities> Large relative niche market available for specialist technology services in Malta and even overseas> Industry is in growth phase> Clients willing to pay premium rates for specialized services> The world is moving to integrating homes, buildings, production lines, systems> There is a multibillion market out there for intgegration

Threats> Rate of change of technology> Other competitors (from cheaper labor countries may come in)

Strengths> Political and influential contacts of ESI owner within the region> Highly trained technical staff within ESI> Top management want the change> Support of change from owner> Logistical and cost advantages wrt competition> Siemens accredited systems integrator

Weaknesses> ESI does not know competitors well> Lack of direction within ESI (No mission and objectives)> Present staff de motivation> Lack of strategy for the future> Structure, leadership style and culture need to be changed> No HR systems in place> Develop new premises
