American Education Week

The week of November 11th – 15th has been designated American Education Week. Each year, it has been our custom to issue a special invitation to parents and community members to visit our schools. This gives everyone an opportunity to observe the teaching and learning process in our schools. No special activities are planned, purposely in order for you to get the feeling of a child's typical school day. Two days have been designated for visitation at each of our elementary schools -- Tuesday, November 12th and Friday, November 15th. See the link below to view the letter: Letter

Turkey Titan Pick of the Week

Turkey Hill School participates in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). Our students randomly receive orange tickets for being respectful, responsible, and safe throughout the school day. Every week we hold a random drawing, from the tickets that students earned, and pick a student in each grade to receive a prize.

Junior Achievement

Hello THS Families!

The THS PTO would like to send a HUGE thank you to all the volunteers, especially Jenny DiSorbo and Renee Rogers, Hoot Committee Chairs, for making this year’s event so successful. Thank you also to all the families and local businesses who donated items, and to everyone who attended too!

Funds are still being collected for the auction and expenses reimbursed, but estimate we made ~$5,000, our most successful Hoot to date!

If you have photos of the Harvest Hoot and/or Halloween parade/classroom parties for the yearbook please upload them to the Shutterly Share Sites App (instructions below on how to get the app).

Drama

Just a reminder that there will be 4th Grade casting on Thursday, November 7th in the Library.

Dining for Dollars: Prime 16

Our first ever Dining for Dollars event will be at Prime 16 on Tuesday, 11/26 from 4-9pm.

Turkey Titan School Store

The Turkey Titan School Store is open on Wednesdays during all lunch periods! The school store has some much needed school supplies ranging in price from a $0.25 bookmark to a $25 THS long sleeve T-shirt. The store also carries many fun items to brighten your child’s day! If your child is interested in purchasing, send their money in with them on Wednesdays. THS Yearbook and Shutterfly Share Sites App

To make the yearbook a success, we need parents to submit pictures throughout the year. Please take pictures at any school event you attend and submit them to the yearbook staff. For the 2019-2020 school year, we are making it even easier to submit your pictures, by uploading them to the Shutterfly Share Sites App (also accessible directly from the computer)!

To get access:● From an internet browser, go to: turkeyhillschoolyearbook.shutterfly.com● Click on “Sign Up”● Enter your information● You’ll be brought to this landing page:● <image003.jpg>● Click Ask● You will receive an email from Shutterfly Share Sites shortly afterwards giving you access

to the site/app● Separately, you will need to download the Shutterfly Share Sites app to your phone

OR● Send an email [email protected] asking for access to the site● Provide your first and last name and the email address you’d like to use to access the site● You will then receive an email from Shutterfly Share Sites giving you access to the
