The OpeningNight Concert is next Thursday evening, 7:30pm at the new FirstPresbyterian Church on M-37 north of Hastings. The concert willfeature our own Thornapple Jazz Orchestra with special guestEyde Evans-Hyde. The concert is free but an offering will beaccepted to help the TJO support their Jazz Scholarships pro-gram.2. Then the festival moves to Downtown Hastings and our townwill be swinging as never before with performances at ten differ-ent venues, featuring over 50 different High School Jazz Bandson Friday and Saturday. Performances are free to all.3. Also on Friday performances by Steel Drum Bands will runfrom 10am until 6pm with the Headliner Steel Drum Concert, fea-turing Jim Coviak and the Flint All Stars Steel Drum Band start-ing at 6:30pm.
