The religious observance of Easter is an age-old celebrationthat has united believers worldwide. For Christians, EasterSunday is the commemoration of Jesus’ resurrection from the
dead. For Jews, the Passover season brings the rejoicing of God’semancipation of the Israelites from the days of slavery in ancientEgypt. The story, as recorded in the Holy Scriptures hundredsof years ago, still lives today and — for a brief season — the worldwill again cease its acrimony and look toward life’s deeper meaningand greater cause. May the Easter season bring peace and blessingsto our readers on this Easter weekend and in the coming year.
