NEW: Position and group – for all elements in drawing can be allocated position and for select group of elements indication.
After selecting the cabinet, there is now in the cabinet dialog new item - Position. Now, it is possible to edit the cabinet’s position.
In this way, we can enter the position for individual elements in the drawing.
TCFM 20
Identification of a group can be assigned to selected elements in a drawing. Select the required cabinets and click on the icon ‘Generate’.
We can see in the dialog box how many objects are selected and we can enter the name for this Group, for example‚ ‚Kitchen‘.
In this way we can create required groupsGroups.
TCFM 20
If the marked objects come from different Groups, the Group name in the dialog box is written with an asterisk (*).
Deleting this asterisk (*) clears the marking of objects that come from different Groups:
NEW: Prefix auto position – makes it possible to add a prefix indication of position together with the numbered position, according to the sequence in which the objects were entered into a drawing. The sequence is marked with blue numbers.
TCFM 20
TCFM 20
NEW: The minimum and maximum element size. Now, we can define minimum and maximum size for an element in (X, Y, Z). If you exceed this size limit, the resizing will not be implemented. It is necessary to set Size minimums and maximums for the X, Y and Z variables.
TCFM 20
When the size limit is exceeded, the program will display the following notification:
NEW: Blum, 3D Cabinet hinges and fittings symbols
NEW: The unit of material is m3.
TCFM 20
TCFM 20
NEW: Work schedule – Simple planner of works.
NEW: The numbering of edges – allows you to define the sequence of machining the edges.
TCFM 20
NEW: Group, Position – transfer of information from the graphical part of TurboCAD into the Group column and position in DAEX CUT:
Improved: Nesting – Optimized cuts allows for special treatment for Nesting. This combination allows for more complete machining of elements directly on the CNC. Improved: Print report. List of the parts A2 (Optimization) – There are now new columns for allowance of X and Y- X NP and Y NP.
Improved: Summation of storage cards. At the end of the print report, there is now a summation of all items.
TCFM 20
Improved: Floor / ceiling – added views on the chosen material for the floor and ceiling.
PARAMETRIZATION DAEX18 – general description You can assign a „Model“ to selected unit in the „Generate“ dialog.
- If the „Model“ is not assigned to the cabinet – user can change different dimensions, specify
moving elements etc. – the individual elements of the cabinet will not adapt in this case it is
only up to the user to set everything up to his needs.
- If the „Model“ is assigned to the cabinet – changing dimensions of the cabinet, changing
thickness of the materials etc. are automatically processed – individual elements of the
cabinet will adapt.
Library symbol do not have defined model – we can change the model for individual element:
- dimensions
- position
- thickness
- material
- edge
Example – changing the material thickness of the right cabinet side.
- Choose new material for elelment and click on Generate. You can see that only right side of
the cabinet has changed, other elements will remain unchanged.
- Select right side
- As next step choose required material. We can choose from a list of different material
thicknesses.
TCFM 20
- Click on generate
Library symbol has defined model – we can change thickness material of whole symbol by one click or it is possible to gradually change thickness material of selected elements – sides, bottom.
- Assign defined model to a symbol. With this model, we can save the library symbol.
- In Elements choose carcass
- As next step choose required material. It is possible to choose from different material
thicknesses
- Click on generate
TCFM 20
If the option „Generate automatically“ is ticked – selected modifications will take effect automatically.
Model definition Individual models are saved in the file Formula.xml (…\Spinar-software\DAEX-TurboGenerator 18\Data\Configs\Formula.xml). Description of each tag:

PARAMETRIZATION DAEX18 – examples Example 1) Changing material with a link to recalculate board dimensions of the selected cabinet in graphics
• Description: This example demonstrates how to specify parameters to a modelled cabinet in the library in a way that the boards in the graphics change their dimensions after the change of the material thickness.
Basic model – overall fixed dimensions XC, ZC, YC.
Model is created according to DAEX Generator library symbol´s rules. This model has to have defined task in the configuration file Formula.xml. In this case there is a model with right overlay side, left overlay side and back in the groove. The definition is marked PBN_LBN_ZDD. The definition will assigned to this model.
Individual models are saved in the file Forula.xml (…\Spinar-software\DAEX-TurboGenerator 18\Data\Configs\Formula.xml). (Editation of configuration files is determined for advanced users. We recommend you to back up your original configuration files. Company Špinar software is not responsible for any changes and functionality of configuration files.)
TCFM 20
This description specifies links and behaviour of each element. Define dimensions and relative element position to each element (left bottom corner viewed from the front). We do not involve the edge into the element dimension that is why the thickness edge is substracted from edge dimensions. In the examples below, a 0.5 mm edge is used. The edge is on both sides that is why there is dimension Y-1 (2 x 0, 5 mm). Example of left side
Example of the top
TCFM 20
Each element is created by material that had given thickness (TL). Each element has defined dimensions X, Y, Z that are adjusted according to the material thickness change.
Example of the bottom
Overall width dimension = left side thickness + bottom width + right side thickness XC = TL + X bottom + TL
X bottom = XC – TL – TL X bottom = 400 – 18 – 18 X bottom = 364 mm
If you want to change thickness material, select the cabinet and clisck on Generate – Elements.
TCFM 20
Select carcass and choose appropriate material group according to the thickness. Choose new material for sheet material and edges. Click on Generate. Confirm OK.
X bottom = XC – TL – TL X bottom = 400 – 10 – 10 X bottom = 380 mm In this example we have changed material design and the thickness keeping overall dimensions. Cabinet parts has adapted to new dimensions – bottom, top and shelves increased the width according to the configuration file.
TCFM 20
TCFM 20
Example 2) Changing the dimensions and position of the parts with binding to construction part order in the cabinet
• Description: This example describes possibility to change dimensions and position of one or more parts of the cabinet so that it is possible to change its design or the position of the parts. For instance, after this parametrisation it is possible to make a change of carcass where the bottom or the top will be overlay or inset in relation to the sides.
Basic model – overall fixed dimensions XC, ZC, YC and construction of inset sides, inset top and bottom.
The library symbol has assigned model according to its construction.
Individual models are saved in the file Formula.xml (…\Spinar-software\DAEX-TurboGenerator 18\Data\Configs\Formula.xml). (Editation of configuration files is determined for advanced users. We recommend you to back up your original configuration files. Company Špinar software is not responsible for any changes and functionality of configuration files.)
Dimension of these elements have to be changed in the cabinet construction:
• top, bottom – extends by the thickness of two sides to overall width of the cabinet that is substracted from edges
• sides – reduced by the thickness of the top and bottom If you want to change the construction you have to select another model that has defined links among elements. Example of configuration files:
TCFM 20
Overlay sides Inset sides
TCFM 20
To change construction of library symbol, choose another model and confirm.
