Since this picture was made:. back in September this group of youths-the youngest team Tulane has

ever had- has fought its way to a place in Southern football or which few outside of Coach Shaughne.ssy

and a small group of optimis~s. scarcely dreamed. Since that time Bergeret reported to the squad and has

been fighting like a tiger in the line; Lorio was advanced to Lhe 'Varsity group from the reserves and h as

a bundantly proved his worth and, unfortunately. misfortune in the form of a broken leg, robbed Leal Mc­

Lean of the privilege of going ahead with his mates, and deprived Tulane of his services.
