Hardware Notes

MPEG-2 transport streams can be sent over a number of different medium. Your choice of hardwaredepends on which service you wish to receive and also where you are located in the world. These are themedium standards TSReader supports:

Input Sources

TSReader can process MPEG-2 transport streams in real time from the following interfaces. The piece ofsoftware that ties the hardware to TSReader is called the Source Module and you must select theappropriate module when you configure TSReader for the first time.

Note 1: Use of BBTI drivers version 4.4 are required for operation with TSReader.Note 2: This card isn't fully functional yet in TSReader primarily because we either can't get a card or don't have that format ofmodulation available to test with. If you have one of these cards, please contact us - we'd like to work with owners to getTSReader debugged on these cards.Note 3: This card has an eight PID maximum demux severely limiting it's performance in TSReader. Please see this note aboutcards with demultiplexers.Note 4: This interface is supported using Microsoft Windows BDA drivers.
