The Creation Spirituality of Matthew Fox – ADULT ENRICHMENT CLASS – May 20 & 27, 11:30am – Opal Room – Join Mike Eggleston in examining two of Fox’s books: May 20 – “The Coming of the Cosmic Christ”, and May 27 – “The Hidden Spirituality of Man”.HOME GROUPS – Mondays at 6:30pm, and Tuesdays at 3:30pm – Season 3 begins on May 28 for the Monday group and on May 29 for the Tuesday group. More information about our home groups can be found on our website at trinitylososos.org/get-involved/home-groups, or by contacting the group leaders. COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAMS – Community Rewards are donations made by companies to non-profit organizations at the direction of their customers. Trinity is a participant in the rewards programs offered by Ralph’s, Amazon Smile, and eScrip. Contact the church office for more information about how your purchases can generate donations to Trinity. LITTLE CHURCHES – Pick up a little church to take home and fill with loose change. Filled Churches may only be turned in on the first Sunday of each month. TRINITY KIDS TEACHERS AND HELPERS NEEDED - As a testament to our wonderful Sunday School teachers we are seeing more and more kids being a part of our Sunday morning worship. Because we are seeing more kids we are in need of more help. If you are interested in either being a teacher or helper please talk with Juliane Mittman or email her at [email protected]. The commitment would be for one Sunday a month. LAYETTE PROJECT – MAY 2018 – The United Methodist Women collect layette items for donation to the SLO County Health Department to be distributed to local low-income mothers and their infants. A table is set up in the social hall to receive donations. A list of suggested donations is available at the table. PEOPLE’S KITCHEN – Thursday, May 24, 12:00 noon – Prado Day Center, SLO – Carole Harden will be in the Social Hall after church to explain more about People’s Kitchen and how Trinity is involved in feeding the homeless of SLO County. Sign up with Carole to help with preparations and/or to serve lunch. PEACE WITH JUSTICE SUNDAY – Sunday, May 27 – Your generous gift supports Peace with Justice ministers in your annual conference, administered by your conference Peace with Justice coordinator, and Peace with Justice work in the United States and around the world, administered by the General Board of Church and Society. When you give today, you encourage people to live – not just preach – a gospel of peace. GUEST PREACHER – Sunday, Jun 3 – Mack Mitchell returns to preach as part of our celebration year. ALL CHURCH CLEANING PARTY!! Saturday, 10/28 & 11/4 9:00AM – 12:00 noon

It’s time for a much needed Deep Cleaning at TUMC! Please join the Trustee Committee for one or both of these Saturday mornings to help “spruce up” the Social Hall, Kitchen and Sanctuary. We’ll have fun together vacuuming, polishing, scrubbing (sweating! J) and snacking, too – donuts will be served! Come help make our facility sparkling clean in time for the holidays. We’ll work on the Social Hall and Kitchen on 10/28, and on the Sanctuary on 11/4.
