Sharing the Sacrament of Communion in the Pews You are invited remain in your pew to receive the elements. A donation to Trinity in loving memory of Bill Dimock has been received from Ben & Norma Carson. The 2016 Advent and Christmas Schedule of Services and Events at Trinity is available in the Narthex or by the church office. TODAY!!!! Unit A is holding a Soup & Dessert Luncheon following worship. Meals are $8.00. Come and enjoy a social time and good food! Gifts of Care Trinity is sponsoring two single moms who each have a baby boy as our congregational Advent Project. A tree containing tags is set up in the Narthex (including underwear tags for clients of Shepherd’s Lunch Room.) Please remove a tag and bring the item December 11 th or drop it off to the office. Please do not wrap the gift. Cash donations will go towards the purchase of food for their Christmas dinners. Saturday December 10: 10 12noon T H Café: Trinity Hosts a Café! There will be sewing projects and kitchen goodies for sale. The organizers are looking for Christmas containers (tins, jars, boxes, used gift bags) as well as baked goodies, jams, jellies, and other preserves. If there are those who may prefer to send along soups, chili, quiches, etc. that would be greatly appreciated. If you are able to contribute to the “Goodies” table, we would appreciate if you would let us know so please contact Nancy Wilson at 902-752-3480 or email [email protected]. Food can be delivered to the church between 2 and 6 pm on Friday December 9th. We will look after the packaging! December 11 : 10am Intergenerational Worship Service 2:30pm Valley View Villa Nursing Home Service “A Carolling We Go!” People of all ages are invited to gather at Valley View Villa to head out to other nursing homes and the homes of some of the senior members of our congregation to spread some Christmas joy with songs and treat bags. 8:00 pm Tree Lighting Ceremony & Dedication of “Lights from the Heart” Christmas Tree in the Chapel Come and share this special time of lighting the Christmas tree to remember and celebrate those we love. Hot drinks and cookies will be served in the Mary Walsh Room following the service. Exciting event at TRINITY: An impromptu...Keep it Simple Story and Song "pageant" will be held on Tuesday December 13 th at 7:00pm. Everybody gets a part. All ages welcome. We'd love to run out of space and costumes. Come and be a part of it if you are even remotely interested or curious or if the kids might like to help tell the story. Costuming starts at 6:30.
