    Chr. Lancaster, vicar of Kirkby Malzeard to Dr Hill Master of Trinity College. Letter resigning the vicarage, which has three cures, Masham, Kirkby and Midlesmore; and is more than one man can serve. His father-in-law, an aged minister is dead; and he is likely to succeed him, and is guardian to the children and though that living is only 80l. a year, it is one cure. In case no fellow will take it, he recommends Mr Browne or Mr Procter to succeed him.

Letter with regard to the lease of Masham prebend, for which Mr Robert Wyvell and Mr Beckwith have both applied, one as uncle and executor, the other as brother and heir of the laste lessee, stating that they have agreed, asking the Master’s authority either to renew the lease or to grant another, and mentioning a promise to pay recent arrears, and a claim to a larger sum for former arrears.
