Targeted Intervention Means ExcellenceOn Mon and Thurs students are assigned to an advisory class by grade level. Teachers choose the grade level for the students in the class.Each teacher will organize the class to best suit the needs of the students and teacher.Examples of how a teacher might structure the class are listed.

Targeted Intervention Means ExcellenceOn Tues and Wed students and teachers have flexibility in how the 25-minute TribeTIME period is used.You may need to complete some make-up work, get help with that proof in geometry, or maybe you just want to finish off the book youve been reading.You might want to pet a pig or find out how to make your selfie more interesting. The possibilities are almost endless.But students must be in a class. You will need to plan ahead and have a second choice just in case.A list of what teachers are offering will be posted in the breezeway, in the office, and on the school website to help you make decisions.

4How TribeTIME WorksAttendanceMonday and Thursday the advisory teacher will take attendance on Aeries.Tuesday and Wednesday students will sign-in to the class. The sign-in sheets will be collected and reviewed.Students outside of a classroom after the tardy bell will be escorted to a detention room.Consequences include loss of Friday extended lunch and/or Saturday School.

Targeted Intervention Means ExcellenceYour attendance in a TribeTIME class will be your responsibility.For now, advisory teachers will take attendance on aeries, just like any other class.On FLEX days, students will print their long student id number and name on a sign-in sheet.That means, you must have your student ID card with you every day.The sign in sheets will be collected and reviewed for absent students.If you are not in a room by the tardy bell, you will be escorted to a detention room, and you will loose Friday extended lunch. On FLEXdays, the library, staff cafeteria, and a computer lab will be open for students to use. There will be a cap on the number of students allowed in these rooms.5
