In response to your call for comedy sketches, I am submitting two scripts for your consideration. Sketch 1: Synopsis: Santa Claus generally bored with his everyday life gets a letter off a secret admirer. Santa Claus writes back and forth to the mystery sender, enjoying the attention he is getting believing the mystery sender is a young attractive female. Eventually when he meets up with the mystery sender, it is an actual fact a overweight hairy man. Characters: Santa Claus: The protagonist and the same man who's every child's hero however he has a little secret. He dresses in red constantly and his wardrobe has a dozen of the same Santa outfits. He wants something new and wants a flirty relationship. Something to take him away from his everyday life. He keeps these letters from Mrs Claus, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. Mystery Sender: Has an admiration for Santa Claus. He adores him and has pictures of Santa Claus surrounding the inside of his house. He is tall, well dressed in a silver tailored suit with his hair slicked back and wears a high amount of aftershave. Elf: Santa's trusty servant is only 2.5 ft tall but obeys his masters every command. He dresses in a green outfit with curling leather boots and a pointed red hat. He always taps his feet and rarely speaks. He is like a kid and cannot keep still for a moment, always rushing around quickly from place to place. Mrs Claus: Appears briefly in the sketch but she is Santa Claus' wife. She is a kind old lady who may have lost her fun side and is happy to do the same boring routine day after day.

In response to your call for comedy sketches, I am submitting two scripts for your consideration.

Sketch 1:

Synopsis:

Santa Claus generally bored with his everyday life gets a letter off a secret admirer. Characters:

Santa Claus: The protagonist and the same man who's every child's hero however he has a little secret. He dresses in red constantly and his wardrobe has a dozen of the same Santa outfits. Interior Sets:

Santa Claus' Office: The office is unlike the rest of the house, very untidy with high amounts of letters piled up on his desk and sacks of mail in the corner. The room is cherry red surrounding with a large old fashioned oak table and chair in the middle. There is a small letter box on the wall which says 'Outgoing Mail'.

Santa Claus and Mrs Claus's Living Room. Red surrounds the top half of the room with varnished oak wood surrounding the bottom half of the room and the floor. A large old fashioned fire place is at the centre of the room with two brown lounge chairs in front of the fireplace with a red rug on the floor.

Mystery Sender's Living Room: A largely decorated room with framed pictures of Santa Claus filling every inch of the walls. A large natural Christmas tree in the corner with several presents underneath it. The floor and a blood red clean carpet and a cabinet is pushed up against a wall.

Costumes:

Santa Claus' Outfit: Full authentic Santa Claus outfit including boots, pants, red overcoat and hat. The suit must be big enough to fit a large man.

Elf Outfit: A small child's authentic Elf outfit. Green shirt and pants with ragged edges. Leather boots which curve slightly at the end. A red pointy had with green trim. Fake pointy ears.

Mrs Claus' Outfit: Knitted long woollen blue skirt and white woollen knitted cardigan along with large old fashioned gold glasses.

Mystery Sender's outfit: Silver tailored expensive suit with cream Shirt underneath and red bow tie.

Exterior Locations:

Terrace Street: A wide terrace street with many houses on each side of the road, a sprinkling of cars fill the street.

Sketch 2:

Synopsis:

A nervous geeky young teenager Simon is taking his driving test. His driving instructor, a large loud black man called Cleveland is not interested in the test but instead is intending on having some fun. On the driving test he shouts to his two friends across the road Detroit and Jackson to jump in and go for a ride with him and Simon. Further on the test the car stops behind another at a set of traffic lights, three women walk past and the four men's eyes follow. The lights change and Simon panics, releases the clutch quickly. A lady in the car in front gets out angrily, its Cleveland's ex wife who the men are terrified of. Cleveland orders Simon to drive away quickly, Simon does so and crashes further down the street. Cleveland, Detroit and Jackson run away leaving Simon to face Cleveland's wife on his own.

Characters:

Simon: A nervous timid teenager who jumps and panics at everything. He has thick blonde curly hair, large bold glasses and wears clothes knitted by his Grandma.

Grandma: An old traditional lady who like Simon is constantly nervous, she is constantly knitting in which she makes clothes for Simon.

Mr Deans: A posh gentleman with a smart Shirt on and braces. He has silver grey hair slicked back. Him and Simon's Grandma only appear briefly in the sketch in the Driving Centre scene.

Cleveland: Simon's unconventional driving examiner. He is a very tall muscular black man who uses 'black American' slang. He is dressed in a plain white T Shirt, black basketball shorts and white high tops.

Detroit: Similar to Cleveland, he is tall and muscular wearing a LA Lakers basketball vest with matching shorts and high tops.

Jackson: Similar height and build as Cleveland and Detroit. He wears clear blue Vest with grey jogging pants and high top trainers.

Cleveland's Wife: We do not find out her name, only that she is a tall woman with thick brown frizzy hair. She has tattoo's filling her arms and a fierce look on her face.

Interior Sets:

Driving Centre: Typical looking waiting room with a cream painted walls and green waiting chairs. The windows are covered by blinds which block out the sunlight.

Props:

Small Hatchback Car: Car is very small and typical for student drivers. The four men are tightly squeezed into the car and all bar Simon's head almost touches the roof.

Costumes:

Basketball shirts, plain T Shirts and Vests to show off the men's muscles. Basketball shorts and high top shoes for Cleveland, Detroit and Jackson. Home knitted tattered clothes for Simon and his Grandma with large bold glasses. Mr Deans outfit is very neat and tidy. He has an expensive white shirt and braces. Smooth business pants and leather polished shoes. Cleveland's wife is dressed in a denim coat and denim jeans with black sandal shoes.

Exterior Locations:

A long main congested and busy road with many bustling things happening. At the end a set of traffic lights at a junction. Simon will turn right down this road when he crashes into Cleveland's wife's car.
