Chipping
SodburyCircular Walk & Treasure Hunt
This side of the leaflet includes information about Chipping Sodbury, not directly on the walk around the town.
There are 2 references on the Map overleaf ( i and ii). The first is showing the location of the steps that are not easily accessible. The second, Cotswold Vintners, is not included in the Treasure Hunt / Walk as it is the bed post holding up the ceiling inside the property and therefore is not always accessible.
The walk around Chipping Sodbury starts at number 1, the Tourist Information Centre (TIC). This purposely does not tally with the letters relating to the Treasure Hunt, as that would make the Treasure Hunt far too simple. Let’s start the Treasure Hunt at the beginning of the alphabet ‘A’.

F, J, Q, V, X and Z are not included on this map as it was too difficult to form a sentence with single letters which included those that have been left out. Can you make a sentence using 20 letters of the alphabet only once?

If you can think of a sentence that uses 20 letters of the alphabet only once, send that sentence to the Tourist Information Centre and it may be used as the answer for the next Treasure Hunt! Send your sentence to [email protected] along with your name, the name of your school and which year class you are in and you may see your name appear on the next Treasure Hunt produced by the Tourist Information Centre.

The Walk and Treasure Hunt leaflet was produced by Laura Lee Phillips, the Manager of the Tourist Information Centre, with the help of many of the volunteers.
Special Thanks go to Jim Elsworth, who was very helpful in allowing us to use his previous leaflets to build this leaflet on and for also checking all the facts. Also Thanks to Rich McD, for the fabulous photographs and South Gloucestershire Councils for the grant that funded the leaflet.
