TRANSMITTER BATTERY INSTALLATION

RECEIVER AND SERVO CONNECTIONS

DO NOT EXPOSE THE RADIO SYSTEM TO WATER OREXCESSIVE MOISTURE.

PLEASE WATER PROOF THE RECEIVER AND SERVOSBY PLACING THEM IN PLASTIC BAGS OR A WATERTIGHT RADIO BOX WHEN OPERATING R/C BOAT MODELS.

IF YOU HAVE LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE OPERATINGR/C MODELS< WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SEEKTHE ASSISTANCE OF EXPERIENCED MODELERS ORYOUR LOCAL HOBBY SHOP FOR GUIDANCE.

Troubleshooting GuideIf your radio system does not operate properly, pleasecheck the following items:

1. Make sure the batteries are properly installed and check the polarity (+ and -) again.2. Check that both the transmitter and receiver power switches are in the ON position.3. Check the LED Power Indicators and make certain that all three are on. If not, replace the batteries.4. Make sure all the receiver and servo connections are tight.5. Make sure that the proper frequency crystals are installed in the transmitter and receiver.

1. Press down on the battery cover and slide in the direction of the arrow to remove.2. Install 8 pieces “AA” size alkaline batteries as indicated on the battery tray. Make sure to match the polarity (+ and -) as shown in the battery compartment or the transmitter will not function.3. Install the battery cover in place and slide to close.

WARNING: Improper installation of transmitter batteriescan cause serious damage to your system.

Your Blazer or Blazer Sport R/C system is equippedwith a BEC receiver to eliminate the need for aseparate battery receiver pack, but you can use aseparate power supply if desired for your particularmodel. The following diagram shows a typicalconnection for the servos and receiver.Note that the receiver antenna should be located atleast 2” (50 mm) away from any servo leads andswitches. In electric cars, we recommend that it beat least 4” (100mm) from the electric motor.

Extend the receiver antenna to the full length. Failureto do so will cause loss of control. Do not cut or bend thereceiver antenna.Be careful to avoid any metal parts coming in contactwith the servo connectors as this will affect theperformance. Insulate the connectors with tape or use tiewraps to avoid contact with metal car chassis.Please follow the model manufactures recommendationsfor the correct installation of your radio system in yourcar or boat.

These color indicators will give you a visual reference forthe condition of the transmitter batteries.

All three indicators (2 green and 1 red) willbe lit when the power is on and thebatteries are in their best condition.

Two indicators (1 green and 1 red) will belit when the power is on and the batteriesare losing capacity. Use caution whenoperating you model, and replace thebatteries as soon as possible.

One indicator (red) will be lit when the poweris on and the batteries are dead or to weak topower the transmitter. DO NOT attempt tooperate your model, and replace the batteriesimmediately. If the batteries are improperlyinstalled, the LED indicators will not be lit.Check your battery installation and/orindividual batteries. DO NOT mix old and newbatteries

TRANSMITTER FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS

Throttle TrimTurn clockwise to make the modelturn right. Turn counter clockwise tomake the model turn left.

Steering Wheel

When the direction of the steering orthrottle movement is opposite fromthe direction of steering wheel ortrigger movement, move the switchto the rev or reverse position. Thiswill reverse the direction of the servomovement and allow you to operatethe model in the normal fashion.

In most models, you can leavethese switches in the nor or normalposition.
