The aim of this course is to: prepare officers for deployment as Military Observers (UNMO) as well as Staff Officers on a Peace Support operation (PSO) reaching proficiency on different subjects recommended by UN DPKO Training Unit (UN structure, operation, main components, evolution, operational techniques, UNMOs duties …)

get trainees ready to operate in hostile environment of PSOs refreshing their basic military skills on mine awareness, driving, tactical training, reconnaissance …

provide with field exercises on observation, inspection, negotiation, patrolling and other operational techniques

ice-break barriers of national differences with parties, country presentations and other social activities(!!!)
