    Imagination Station Summer Day Camp 

     For children, ages 2-5, with disabilities

     

    Tom Sykes Recreation Center

    7:30 am-5:30 pm

    Join us this summer on the Discovery Train!

    Imagination Station is a summer day camp for

    children ages 2-5 with disabilities. Each week we

    will have a different theme such as: Dr. Seuss and

    Eric Carle, which will allow your child to use

    their imagination and creativity! Each day will be

    filled with fun activities including arts and crafts,

    sensory activities, outdoor play, and so much

    more. We will swim once a week and go on a

    field trip once a week as well! 

    Little Big Kids Camp 

     For youth, ages 6 -9, with disabilities 

    Tom Sykes Recreation Center,

    1501 Euclid Ave- Third Floor  

    7:30 am – 5:30 pm

    $100.00 per week

    During each week of camp, we will focus on a differe

    sense (sight, sound, touch, taste or smell, vestibular, proprioceptive) each week. The last week will be a

    combination of all senses. Participants will get to swi

    every Tuesday, go on field trips every Friday, and tak

     part in lots of activities, crafts, sports and games.

    Northern Adventures Summer Day Camp 

     For youth, ages 6 -12, with disabilities 

     For teens, 13-21, with disabilities 

    The Dellwood Center/Torrence Lytle

    Community Center  

    508 Dellwood Drive, Huntersville NC 28078 

    8:30 am – 4:30 pm 

    $100.00 per week

    Join us in Huntersville for an entertaining

    summer! We will have fun on field trips,

    swimming, art, games, music, cooking, science,

    water play and more! This camp is open to

    residents of the towns of Huntersville,

    Davidson, and Cornelius. 

    Young Adult Summer Day Camp 

     For young adults, ages 22-40, with disabilities 

     Marion Diehl Recreation Center  

    2219 Tyvola Road, Charlotte NC 28210 

    8:00 am – 5:00 pm

    $100 per week

    Calling young adults!  Be a part of this active travel

     program where campers will be exploring Charlotte ondaily outings.  Criteria for participation: Participant mu

     be independent with mobility, feeding, toileting, and a

    self -care needs.  Participant should participate in group

    activities.  Participants must be able to stay with the

    group.
