    The TR Section is looking for a few good adapted

    sports volunteers! We need volunteer coaches and

    buddies to help with Challenger Basketball on Tuesday

    evenings at Marion Diehl Recreation Center from

    5:00p-7:00p, Jan 7-Feb 11th. Buddies are also neededhelp with Bumper Bowlers at 10 Park Lanes on

    Wednesday afternoons from 4:00p-5:30p, Jan 8-Feb

    26th. Volunteers will need to pass a background check

    with Mecklenburg County. If you are interested in

    This program is geared to introduce karate to

    children and incorporate appropriate training for

    their age and abilities. Participants will work on

    listening, cooperation, balance, safety and

    beginner karate skills while being challenged and

    encouraged to succeed.

    Come to 10 Park Lanes for a fun time learninghow to bowl, or improving your bowling skills.

    Kids will love learning a new sport and playing

    with friends! Parents are asked to stay and watch

    their childrens skills, and assist if needed. The

    program fee includes 2 games of bowling per

    evening and shoe rental.

    drills needed to play basketball. Participants will

    about). Each month we will host a guest speaker

    or lead a discussion about issues that are

    important to you.
