    games, make crafts, and engage in physical

    activities! All of these activities are used to

    promote peer interaction and appropriate social

    skills, physical activity, and independence.

    Tiny Tumblers is a fun and positive introductionto gross motor skills. The weekly classes will

    develop confidence and build strength, balance,

    and flexibility. Your child will make new friends

    while enjoying pre-school and youth gymnastics

    and young adults to participate in cheerleading

    and be a part of a team, all while having fun with

    friends!

    physical disability, cerebral palsy, spinal cordinjury, or stroke.

    Paralympic Sport Metrolina will host the first

    regional Paralympic boccia tournament.

    Players from Raleigh and surrounding areas

    will participate in individual and team

    competitions. Come out and play a round or

    support local players. The object of boccia is

    to throw/roll a game ball closest to the target

    ball.

    women to talk about and gain support for issuestheyre facing in their lives, such as health &

    safety, independent living, relationships,

    friendships, and self-esteem (participants will

    have the opportunity to choose the topics to learn

    about). Each month we will host a guest speaker

    or lead a discussion about issues that are

    important to you.

    and job skills, relationships, life goals and

    values, and other topics that are important

    to you.
