Day 1 – Oct. 15: Depart U.S.A.Depart the United States on your flight to Lima, Peru.
Day 2 – Oct. 16: Arrive LimaUpon arrival in Lima just after midnight you will be met at theairport and transfer to your hotel. After breakfast in the morning,enjoy a guided morning tour of both colonial and modern Lima,founded in 1535 and later dominated by the Inca nation. See thehistorical center and the San Francisco Church as well as Plaza deArmas and the Government Palace. Later, see the fashionabledistricts of San Isidro and Miraflores with their beautiful parks andelegant residences. Afternoon at leisure for independentexploration during which time you may wish to visit some of Lima’sexcellent museums. (B/D)
Day 3 – Oct. 17: Lima / Cuzco / YucayAfter breakfast, you will have some free time in the morning torelax before your late morning short flight to Cuzco, the fabledcapital of the Inca Empire, perched at about 11,000 feet above sealevel. On arrival, journey to the nearby Sacred Valley of the Incas.The valley has amazing landscapes of fertile land, mystical ruins andindigenous villages. Arrive at your hotel which is located in thequaint village of Yucay and surrounded by lush gardens. (B/D)
Day 4 – Oct. 18: Yucay / Pisac / Ollantaytambo / YucayOn today’s excursion visit the world renowned and colorful Indianmarket in Pisac where many beautiful crafts are traded. Later, travelthrough the lush valley to Ollantaytambo and explore the splendidruins of this massive ancient fortress. The village below is a fineexample of the Incas incredible urban planning skills. Return to yourhotel in Yucay later this afternoon. (B/D)
Day 5 – Oct. 19: Yucay / Machu Picchu / CuzcoEmbark today on an expedition to Machu Picchu. You’ll ride aboardthe Vistadome train through the lush Urubamba Valley passingalong stunning scenery. Arrive at The Lost City Of the Inca’s,rediscovered in 1911. The beauty of its location and the geniusconstruction make Machu Picchu the jewel of all Inca settlements.To this day nobody can explain how the Incas managed to transportthe huge blocks of limestone for the city’s construction onto themountaintop. An expert guide leads you through the ruins andshares with you the amazing story of Machu Picchu. You’ll havesome free time to further discover the mystical ruins and absorbthe beauty of this enchanting site. Later, re‐board the train andjourney to magical Cuzco. (B/D)
Day 6 – Oct. 20: CuzcoCuzco is a vibrant town, dotted with archaeological sites. On aguided walking tour, visit the main Inca and colonial monuments.See the Plaza de Armas, the center of the Inca Empire and theimpressive 16th century cathedral, built on the ruins of the IncaPalace. In the old town view magnificently restored colonialbuildings. Your hotel is superbly located in the heart of the old townnear the lively Plaza de Armas. This evening enjoy a farewell dinnercomplete with a colorful folklore show. (B/D)
Day 7 – Oct. 21: Cuzco / Lima / Buenos AiresToday we will transfer from your hotel to the airport to catch yourflight to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires youwill be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel. (B/D)
Day 8 – Oct. 22: Buenos AiresToday you will get in direct touch with the town where the Tangowas born! During this tour we will visit Avenida de Mayo that runsinto the Plaza De Mayo, which is surrounded by the Casa Rosada(Government House), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo(first City Hall, built during Spanish rule). At the other end of Avenidade Mayo you find the Congress building. Then continue to SanTelmo, the best kept historical neighborhood and oldest district ofBuenos Aires. Here we have time to stroll around Plaza Dorrego,where you can find many antique shops and see tango couplesdancing in the streets. Then visit Zanjon de Granados, a 19th‐century mansion turned museum that offers a view into the city'sunderground past. Discover underground tunnels and a catacomb‐like basement that houses displays of old hidden slave cells andphotos of its heyday. Our next stop is La Boca, a most colorful area.At the famous street Caminito, people will meet painters offeringtheir Tango pictures. Passing Colon Theatre, one of the world's bestknown opera houses and the cultural pride of the "porteños" (as theinhabitants of Buenos Aires are commonly called), we continue toPalermo with its beautiful parks, the City Zoo, Botanical Garden,Argentine Horse Track and National Polo Fields. At the end of thetour we will visit the Recoleta area, one of the city’s glamorousspots. Here you will find the Municipal Cultural Centre, elegantboutiques and excellent restaurants, surrounded by centennialtrees. Then visit the Cemetery of Recoleta which is considered to beone of the most impressive monuments of Argentina’s past. Hereyou will find the grave of Eva Duarte who became famous as EvaPerón (Evita) among other famous personalities from Argentina’s
history. This evening enjoy a dinner and Tango show at EsquinaCarlos Gardel which offers superb cuisine in an exquisitelydecorated Art Nouveau style ambiance. (B/D)
Day 9 – Oct. 23: Buenos Aires Today you will take a full day excursion to Estancia La Candelariawhich is famous for its French style Castle built by at the end of the19th century and it’s park which was designed by the famousFrench landscape designer, Charles Thays. During your visit hereyou can enjoy horseback riding, sulky rides, strolls in the area,gastronomic demonstrations (how to cook local specialities such asempanadas, local pastry, and the traditional mate), gaucho folkdance troops, local musical groups, and creole horse‐back skillevents. During this excursion you will enjoy a delicious asado (BBQ)served with fine Argentine wines and an afternoon countryside tea(served with coffee, milk, tea variety, mate, variety of local pastrypastelitos, pasta frola, tortas fritas). Day 10 – Oct. 24: Buenos Aires / Iguassu FallsDepart Buenos Aires for Luján where you will visit the neo‐gothicBasilica, built in honor of the Virgin of Luján, the patron saint ofArgentina. Also see the Enrique Udaondo museum complex whichis the biggest museum in Latin America and Our Lady of LujánAvenue with its picturesque arches, which every year receivemillion of people, as a testimony of their deep faith. Then take ashort flight to the Argentinean side of Iguassu Falls. You’ll soondiscover why this is considered one of the greatest natural wondersof the world! Set at the border of Argentina and Brazil, the fallsconsist of 275 inlets and cataracts that send their cascades roaring250 feet below. Enjoy a ride on the ecological train through therainforest to Devil’s Throat for a spectacular close‐up view of theArgentinian side of the falls. Proceed to your hotel which is setamidst lush tropical gardens. (B/D)
Day 11 – Oct. 25: Iguassu FallsToday view the dramatic Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls and the lushsub‐tropical vegetation on an included morning tour. The afternoonis free for independent activities, shopping or relaxing at yourhotel's pool‐side. (B/D)
Day 12 – Oct. 26: Iguassu Falls / Rio De JaneiroTransfer to the airport to catch a morning flight to Rio de Janeiro,often described as one of the world's most beautiful cities.Sprawling between lush tropical mountains and the exquisitebeaches of the Atlantic, Rio’s natural beauty and the warmth of itspeople will win your heart. This afternoon ascend imposing Sugar
Loaf Mountain by cable car to the 1300‐foot summit for stunningviews of the city and surroundings. Later drive along white‐sandedbeaches of Copacabana and Ipanema and arrive at your luxurioushotel, the only hotel in Rio situated directly on the beach! Thisevening an optional Samba show is available for an additionalcharge. (B/D)
Day 13 – Oct. 27: Rio De JaneiroOn this morning's tour, a cog railway takes you through therainforest up Corcovado Mountain, a 2,300‐foot peak crowned bythe landmark statue of Christ the Redeemer. The views from the topof the mountain are dazzling! Later, discover Rio’s Portuguesecolonial history in the downtown area and visit the largest Cathedralin South America. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore onyour own, shop for authentic gemstones and souvenirs, head to thebeach or relax at your hotel’s pool! This evening an optional Sambashow is available for an additional charge. Tonight, celebrate withyour fellow travelers at a festive dinner. (B/D)
Day 14 – Oct. 28: Depart Rio De JaneiroToday will be free for independent pursuits. This evening we willhave a farewell dinner at a local restaurant before transferring tothe airport to catch for our return overnight flight home. (B/D)
Day 15 – Oct. 29: Arrive U.S.A.This morning you will arrive back in the United States following yourovernight flight from Rio De Janeiro.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
Reservations and Payment: Please complete the attached ReservationApplication and return it with your deposit of $300.00 per person at thetime of booking. Final payment is due 65 days prior to departure.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be in writing. The following perperson cancellation charges will apply: If canceled 91 days or more prior todeparture, a $50.00 administrative fee will be charged. If canceled 90 ‐ 61days prior to departure, $250.00 will be charged. If canceled 60 ‐ 31 daysprior to departure, $450.00 will be charged. If canceled 30 ‐ 7 days prior todeparture $700.00 will be charged. No refunds will be made within 6 daysof departure. In addition, once the airline tickets have been issued, 100%of the airfare is non‐refundable unless you have been advised otherwiseat the time of your booking. Additional cancellation charges may applydepending upon the cancellation terms of our suppliers.
Refunds: Subject to the foregoing Cancellation Terms, upon cancellationof travel related services, all sums paid to George’s International Tours forsuch services will be promptly returned to the passenger, provided thepassenger has not caused such cancellation and is not in violation of any ofthe terms and conditions previously, clearly and conspicuously disclosedand agreed to by the passenger. This refund provision does not applywhere George’s International Tours has remitted the payment to anotherregistered seller of travel or a carrier and they default in providing theagreed‐upon transportation or service without providing a refund. In sucha situation, George’s International Tours agrees to provide passenger witha written statement accompanied by a copy of the bank recordsestablishing the disbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a sellerof travel, proof of their current registration.
Trust Account Disclosure: California law requires certain sellers of travelto have a trust account or bond. George’s International Tours has such atrust account.
Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (“TCRC”): George’s InternationalTours is a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation(“TCRC”). You, the passenger, may request reimbursement from TCRC if theSeller of Travel was registered and participating in the TCRC at the time ofsale and the passenger is located in California at the time ofpayment. Please be advised that passengers purchasing from outside ofCalifornia are not covered by the TCRC. Eligible passengers may file a claimwith TCRC if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 fortransportation or travel services which the Seller of Travel failed to forwardto a proper provider or if such money was not refunded to you whenrequired. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRC to anyone passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to theSeller of Travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to theTCRC within six months after the scheduled completion date of thetravel. A claim must include sufficient information and documentation toprove your claim and a $35 processing fee. You must agree to waive yourright to other civil remedies against a registered participating Seller ofTravel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a claim with theTCRC, if you were located in California at the time of the sale. You mayrequest a claim form by writing to: Travel Consumer RestitutionCorporation, P.O. Box 6001, Larkspur, CA 94977‐6001; or by faxing arequest to 415‐927‐7698.
Travel Documents: A passport with a minimum of 6 months validityremaining is required of all U. S. citizens. U.S. citizens require visas forBrazil ($165.00 per person) and Argentina ($160.00 per person) which mustbe arranged prior to departure. Visas are not currently required for Peru.Information on obtaining your visas will be forwarded to you upon receiptof your deposit. If you are not a U. S. citizen, please call to find out if youneed a visa. LW Travel is not responsible for visas or passports.
Tour Cost: All quoted prices are based upon airfares, tariffs and currencyexchange rates at the time of printing and are subject to change at anytime. Should the minimum number of 20 tour members not be reached,the right is reserved to increase the tour cost accordingly.
Tour Documents and Tickets: Final tour documents are mailed, providedwe have received full payment, within 3 weeks of departure.
Baggage: Each passenger is allowed one checked bag and one carry‐on.You will be responsible for paying to the airline any additional charges foradditional checked baggage or overweight baggage (if excess weight ispermitted). George’s International Tours is not responsible for lost,damaged or stolen baggage.
Air Transportation: Air travel is in economy class on LAN/TAM Airlines (orany other IATA carrier). Fares are based upon levels in effect at the time ofprinting. Fares and flight schedules are subject to change without notice.
Hotels: Accommodations are based on double occupancy rooms. A limitednumber of single rooms are available at the supplement quoted and shouldbe requested at the time of booking.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you have comprehensivetravel insurance. Insurance may be purchased directly through George’sInternational Tours and registration forms will be provided upon receipt ofyour deposit or you may purchase online at www.georgesintl.com.George’s International Tours acts only as an intermediary between you andthe insurance provider and in no event shall George’s International Toursbe liable to any person or entity whatsoever for any direct, indirect,incidental, special, exemplary, compensatory, consequential, or punitivedamages related to insurance coverage purchased.
Not Included: Gratuities, passport/visa fees, personal travel insurance,laundry, beverages and items not on the regular menu of the includedmeals, additional baggage in excess of airport allowance, optionalsightseeing tours, and all expenses of a purely personal nature.
Responsibility Clause: The passenger contract issued by the transportationcompany shall constitute the sole contract between the transportationcompany and the passenger. Additional expenses incurred as a result ofdelay, change of schedules, illness, weather, strikes, hostilities, quarantine,government requisition of hotel space or any other reasons beyond thecontrol of the tour operator or travel agent shall be borne by thepassenger. George’s International Tours reserves the right to substitutehotels of similar category if necessary and to alter itineraries.
Limitation of liability: The airlines, hotels, and other suppliers (jointly:“travel suppliers”) providing travel or other services sold by George’sInternational Tours are independent contractors and not agents oremployees of George’s International Tours. George’s International Toursand/or their cooperating selling agents and/or their travel suppliers offerthese tours for sale only on the express understanding that theythemselves do not perform or in any way assume liability for theperformance of the individual components, transfers, hotels, flights, car,motorcoaches, etc. of these tours and act only to combine thesecomponents into a single unit of sale for the convenience of the generalpublic. To the extent permitted by law, George’s International Tours doesnot assume liability for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delaydue to an act or omission of a travel supplier, including, without limitation,an act of negligence or the default of a travel supplier. To the extentpermitted by law, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage and/ordelay due to force majeure, sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, bankruptcy,machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather,terrorism or any causes beyond George’s International Tours’ control.Further, no responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omissions,delays, failure to make connections, non‐performance or poorperformance, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated profits, any additionalexpenses or lost business, attributable to you yourself, acts or omissions ofany third parties, or acts of any governmental authority, even if George’sInternational Tours has been advised that such damages were possible orprobable.
