Support the Production of our Bulletin For quite some time we have been producing our own bulletin allow-ing us to meet the needs of the three languages. If we were to send this bulletin out to be produced, we would have to have one bulletin in English only for everyone and the publications of the Readings in Ital-ian and Spanish would have to come to an end. Help us by Supporting our advertisers and also by placing an ad in our bulletin for a year. Please call the office for more information.

For the intentions of his Holiness Pope Francis.
MASS INTENTIONS EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US. The Lord gave unwilling King Ahaz a sign. Joseph, “son of David the King” and a house builder, received the same sign for Mary.“The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him Emmanuel, God-with us.”That is the promise of Jesus’ coming. Emmanuel “God-with-us”, our only hope! Are you awaiting him?
With Christmas just around the corner the days of Advent are almost over. During this week, some of you may be buying the last things to prepare for this special event, CHRISMASS. A lot of preparation had to be made for the first Christmas by Mary and Joseph. They had to prepare by saying “yes” to God’s plan for the birth of Jesus. Today’s Gospel focuses on the preparation made by Joseph for that first Christmas, and we hear the account of how Mary conceived our Sav-ior. St. Matthew has told us that Jesus de-scended from King David. He is the anointed King ("Messiah") that God had promised to the world. Joseph and Mary are engaged and have signed a marriage contract, but Joseph has not yet taken her into his house. This means not living together. The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary asking her to be the moth-er of Jesus and she said “yes.” Joseph too, like Mary, received a visit from an angel asking him to agree to God’s plan for Mary. Joseph, after he understood God’s plan, pre-pared everything for the first Christmas and he submitted to God’s plan in faith. As we prepare for Christmas we can turn to St. Jo-seph asking for his help so that we can pre-pare our hearts in faith to be worthy to re-ceive Jesus the Emmanuel.

Daily Mass We would like to inform parishioners that the goal of the National Catholic Broadcasting Council (NCBC) is to ensure that, Catholics can experience the Mass each day when they are una-ble to attend their local parish. The pri-mary way we enable this across Cana-da is through our Broadcast Partners at Salt + Light Television ,VisionTV and yesTV. The internet is also a very im-portant way to reach out to those who want to stay connected to their faith. NCBC's Daily TV Mass (Monday-Saturday) is now available anytime and anyplace on our new website, on our new YouTube Channel and soon on an APP for use on Apple or Android de-vices. These are new ways to view the Daily TV Mass when getting to the parish is not possible.

Questions for Reflection:
Can the “grace of apostleship” be differ-ent for everyone? Could everyone be “called to be holy”?
List the obstacles God encountered in bringing Jesus into the world. Is anything in this world obstacle-free? How can good come out of obstructions?
