Who is Torchmate?We offered our first pantograph shape cutting machine in 1979. It used a magnetic tracing head to guide

a manual oxy-fuel torch. We began selling CNC shape cutting machines over ten years ago,

and now have well over 15,000 CNC systems throughout the U.S. and in nearly 70 foreign countries.

TM CAD/CAM-Made by Torchmateand Supported by TorchmateThe TM CAD/CAM program encompasses two important functions that are essential to CNC success –• a design suite for part drawing (CAD)• and a machining suite for an accurate end product. (CAM)

Torchmate CAD/CAM (full version) offers versatile drawing features including• Complete limitless shape creation• tracing of scanned images• Full Automatic Nesting• import of other file types such as DXF, DWG, PDF, JPG…

The user friendly interface allows both new and experienced users to design any part imaginable

from simple tabs and brackets to intricate signs and art scenes. Once a part is designed accurately

the machining side of the software takes over to ensure a precision finished part. A full nesting tool is included to

optimize the material used leaving minimal waste. The tool path function

compensates for the cut width (kerf) of any tool to ensure that a part is cut as

accurately as it was drawn.

TM Driver Software

• The Torchmate driver software is the essential control interface for the Torchmate CNC

machine. The driver software allows you to move the table, position the torch and operates all Torchmate accessories and tooling.

A key feature of our driver software is the ability to utilize industry standard G-code and DXF files to ensure our machines are universally compatible with all files and programs.

The driver software can control up to five axis of motion and files with multiple tools like plasma and plate marking on the same file.
