The two-hour event is hosted by Ground Breakers, an Oakvillegreen program that has seen the planting of approximately 16,000 native trees and shrubs in Oakville since 2004. People will meet in the parking lot, at 10 a.m., on the left side of the Lakeshore Road West entrance — the park is located at Lakeshore and Great Lakes Boulevard. It’s suitable for students earning community hours, families or busi- nesses hosting teambuilding events. While shovels and gloves will be provided, volunteers are welcome to bring their own. Oakvillegreen tree planting at Shell Park

Volunteers are sought for Oakvil-legreen’s Shell Park tree planting May 10.

The two-hour event is hosted by Ground Breakers, an Oakvillegreen program that has seen the planting of approximately 16,000 native trees and shrubs in Oakville since 2004.

People will meet in the parking lot, at 10 a.m., on the left side of the Lakeshore Road West entrance — the park is located at Lakeshore and Great Lakes Boulevard.
